It's unusual to find a director who was so successful in such different genres. The Princes Bride was nothing like Misery, which was nothing like A Few Good Men, which was nothing like When Harry met Sally, etc. Just a terrible and scary situation with an, apparently, very troubled son.

The daughter called 911…she is not the owner of the house. Perhaps that is why they had to get a search warrant. She lived across the street.
