Strangely enough, I met Bryce Dallas Howard yesterday at the Knoxville Comic Con. She was the redhead from the later Jurassic Park films.

I'm old enough to remember him as the grown up Damien Thorn in The Omen III, the last of the series that started back in the 1970s.

I’m surprised to learn he was a Kiwi. I’d assumed he was American.
I just watched “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” two night ago. It was filmed in New Zealand.

I’d say about twice a year I’m shocked to learn of an Australian actor that I thought was American.
Same goes for Brits. And more than just twice a year.
Seems like foreign actors are way better at pretending to be us than our actors are at pretending to be them.

I will be watching Jurassic Park tonight. Maybe JP3 as well. Sam was a big part of my childhood with these movies. The first one was released a year after I was born.
Same. I can't lie – I was a bit devastated to wake up to the news. My wife and I also love Peaky Blinders and he was brilliant in that.
Remember attending his and Bryan Brown's joint birthday party at Darling Harbour in Sydney back in 1998.

I am shocked she was at a comic con and especially one in Knoxville. I thought she had a decent ongoing career. Guess not.
I too was surprised he was from new Zealand. I thought Irish.
Easy money is easy money. Pose for a picture and charge money for it. It doesn't get any easier.
Very sad. He was a horror movie standout. In The Mouth of Madness, Event Horizon and Posession were all fantastic.
I totally agree. I just know the perception is it devalues the actor to a degree. Personally I don't blame them at all.
Those years of hard partyin' finally caught up with him. His shouts are now silenced.
