Great name for a RB.

"When Miami was 0-8 in the 2007 season, on its way to a 0-13 start and 1-15 record, Morris offered another of his many memorable quips.

"The Dolphins are not embarrassing me, because our record's at the top of the heap," Morris said. "That's not my team. People say, 'Your team is doing bad.' I say, 'My team all has AARP cards.'"

One of the reasons I am a Dolphin fan to this day......thank God I don't follow pro football as much these days!

Interesting part of video - in the Miami undefeated era, Morris was the runner defenses keyed on because they felt he could hurt big and quick. Czonka was more of a tractor so they let him go get his yards

I have been a Dolphin fan since the ‘71 SB against the Cowboys. Had a chance to meet and talk with him on an airplane many many years ago. RIP 22

Just read he shared West Texas State backfield with fullback Duane Thomas (who just died in August)

Mercury Morris the speed outside running threat of the three headed monster backfield. Csonka, the 3 yards and a cloud of smoke bull, Jim Kiick the do a little of everything guy, and Mercury. RIP
