People complaining about this obit regularly post obits about obscure actors/actresses/musician (and OTs on many other topics). I don't have a problem with this since the reason could be related to his father. And his father has been in the news all season.

What’s really amazing is that some complainers who had the thread have posted here multiple times. There are plenty of threads I have no interest in: hockey, lawn care, golf, beer, mlb teams - but I just pass them by and don’t post multiple complaints in the threads that they don’t belong in a football board

i complain about the people who complain about RIP threads.

But this one is actually way out there.

Posting this as an RIP is like starting a thread about why Bystander should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. (Not the best analogy but it made me laugh.). By the way, the lead guy from Bystander died a few years back and was more deserving of an RIP thread than Josh Maravich!

Mediocre NBA career? Averaged 24 ppg and shot 44% FG’s, many from very deep.
