Sadly Jimmy of Rutgers grease truck fame has passed away.

omg horrible news. Everyone knew Jimmy! HEY BUDDY! Always a smile and the friendliest guy you could meet

His grease truck was the best circa 89-94 Sunrise Jimmy,

every Thursday and Saturday night it was fat cats and gyros, thats when the menu was much smaller.

RIP to him and prayers to his family.

I'll never forget him introducing (or reintroducing... who knows) Buffalo Wings to his menu when he first opened the store front and going in to order them and asking if he had different types of sauces "like Cluck-U?" I, like so many, had a great rapport with Jimmy. He looked me straight in the eye and with perfect comedic timing in that accent delivered, "One sauce! My wings are the best you'll ever have. Cluck-U's wings are hairy like his wife!" I was of course drunk already from a night at the bars so I damn near pissed myself laughing. Thank God the bathroom was open. That was close to 30 years ago and I still remember how hard that made me laugh.

So long buddy. Rest easy.
