If pointing out that him attending the Trump rally may have cost him his life is so negative and making you sick....you need some thicker skin.

Lol I’ve been cracking up at some of your posts lately, grow up!

The man died yesterday and some of you are sick

May he RIP.

But pointing out that there’s a good chance he contracted COVID and likely died because he attended the Trump rally isn’t “sick”.

It’s reality. Sorry this doesn’t fit the “this is a hoax” narrative.

Stop being so soft. I thought you crazy uber conservatives were tougher tbh.

Just saw Pier One Imports is closing down

Countless businesses are being destroyed.

It's what happens when your "leader" hides in his bunker like a little snowflake and lets the virus rage.

Every other developed nation had deaths and economic destruction, but nowhere near the level we have.

France has people attending soccer games. Italy has bars open. Ask yourself why.

And just look at the GDP.
We're in deep ****....and getting worse.

John Lewis died..did i run the man down

Fake news

A bunch of hate filled phonies here on display for all to see

Kinda hard to say something bad about Lewis. You said nothing. Besides, I mentioned Hillary and not Lewis. You really expect anyone to believe you would say something positive or neutral about Hillary? Now that's fake news.

Herman Cain is not the equivalent, I am sure you would be partying in the streets if Trump was assassinated.

Lewis has been awful the past few years with his hateful rhetoric toward Trump and Republicans but I didnt go in his thread to crap on him because I disagree with his politics

quite honestly if Hillary died i wouldnt be posting crass comments on the board but you be you.

Is Hillary’s health in a life threatening situation now? If not then why are you making that analogy?

Your type is always political, no matter what the situation imo.

As someone who has a daughter working as a waitress and a wife who grew up doing the same what’s wrong with that? My daughter works at a breakfast place on the boardwalk, nothing fancy, and with tips averages $20-$30 per hour. That’s nothing to sneeze at. Some of her friends who work at high end restaurants average double those numbers

I'm sure those establishments track and report all those tips and the wait staff does the same. Anyway, why not add another $2/hr to those earnings?

I was a bartender in grad school at a high end restaurant. My hourly wage was triple the wait staff's, and of course, I got to manage my own tips, which were significant.

'Tis a folly to defend the indefensible.

Did you keep track of yours?

BTW, the IRS did a lot of tip audits of high end restaurants in Manhattan back in the 90's. It was eye opening how much those folks made. I'd bet the old habits have returned in the interim.

Yep, because he doesn't drink the Trump piss you drink, Lewis is awful.
Everyone that stands up to that orange haired bag of vomit is awful in your book.

Pointing out that the reason Cain died was because he was avoiding the mask in his show of Trump support, and it cost him his life....is not off limits. Maybe other GOP politicians will FINALLY get the message.

I’m just telling you what my late father told me about Lautenberg so Frank did have his detractors even in the same clan.

Lautenberg was just another lying politician. When running for Senate for the last time, he promised his constituents that he would serve out his term and, then, what did he do? - he upped and died.

You were the one who peddled an obvious ******** story to insult a democrat.

Just what everyone expects from righty extremist loons like you.

You think I made up the Lautenberg story that happened at ADP in Roseland?

Id have to be a natural born liar to make up that story. Oh wait, you already think that of me, ha!

Carry on, Buggsy.

Spare us your fake outrage. If Hillary died today, I'm sure you and your ilk would be so nice to her.

Probably the most honorable thing he ever did.

And if you're into your 80's and still running for office or serving it, you're in it for the power and you can't let go, when I'm rich enough to stop working, I'm going to stop working. These old-timers might have once been noble servants and that's what we need more off and why term limits might not be such a bad idea.

It’s not pizza in any sense yet around this country people like their pies and meals. Maybe being from this area makes us too jaded.
Was actually referring to Pier One Import's pizza.

I enjoyed California Pizza Oven's food in general.

In the early 2000s a guy in my acting class ended up quitting pursuing it because his serving job at a high end steakhouse paid him so much in tips it wasn’t worth it to him to give up the cash and do other things.

No one is being mean because he died of COVID. The point is that he didn't just die of COVID. He chose to challenge COVID and lost.

Herman Cain had a confidence that bordered on arrogance. Not a criticism. Those traits drove him to become the very successful and influential man that he became. They can be very effective when you are competing with human beings. Competing with a virus, though, is a whole 'nother matter.
Another "Doctor" who claims to know where the hell this nice man got the virus - fact is you have no idea where he got it nor does anyone else. But since it helps your agenda you make this self righteous claim. The only fact that is revealed by your post confirms your arrogance.

I never said I knew how he got the virus. What I said was that he chose to challenge it and lost. He very publicly, in his words and his actions, made it clear that he had no interest in taking prudent precautions.

This thread is full of nostalgia. Reminiscent of the Old Days on the CE Board. Guess the mods are letting people voice their grievances against one another in this one thread. And both sides are getting in their overs. Never understood why people of either camp got upset enough at other posters to veer from the topic into personal insults. Seriously, this is a largely anonymous message board. Who cares if someone from some misbegotten town in Central Jersey takes issue with one of my posts and lards his retaliatory post with personal attacks? Just some nameless schlub on a message board who lives a thousand miles away.
