Billy Howton, great NFL receiver of the 50's into the early 60's, has passed away. One of the best. RIP Billy.

Probably more people remember you as a Cowboy , but when at Green Bay Howton was a star player who earned a spot in the GB HOF (inducted in 1974 )
In 1971, Billy Howton was inducted into the Rice Athletic Hall of Fame.

Emlin Tunnell the great Giant's DB said Howton was the toughest receiver he ever had to cover. I remember Howton more with the Packers.
