OT: Richard Chamberlain Dead at 90

The star of the 1960's medical drama,"Dr.Kildare",has passed.

At the time,there was another medical drama"Ben Casey" on the air,albeit on a different night.

More of the women opted for the latter,mostly preferring the Mediterranean look of the show's star,Vince Edwards.

The thorn birds was terrific.

Forever John Blackthorne from the original Shogun. Although the remake is better, Chamberlain was the superior Blackthorne.

And also the lead as Edmond Dante’s in the Count of Monte Cristo, Aramaic in the Musketeers movies, as Raoul Wallenberg, the heel engineer in Towering Inferno, and of course Thornbirds and Dr. Kildare.
