LOL! Just realized what you were saying. NNJ beaches means beaches north of AC. Sorry for the confusion.

Don’t forget Brigantine. Nice South Jersey beach town North of AC, which unfortunately is getting more popular and developed.

Yes we know by now, God only built Montgomery and Stone Harbor all other places in NJ are the spawn of Satan.

I still have no idea where this Montgomery you speak of is located.

"Age is just a number. Go Betty!! 73 years old and still shredding British Columbia's North Shore.

The adult hockey league I used to run had a guy playing well into his 70s. I think he hit 75 or 76 before he decided to just do weekly pickup games. Every time he'd get knocked down I thought I'd have to call an ambulance but he always bounced right back up and kept going.

Isn't inflation up all over the world?

I am sure there are all different kinds of political leaders with all kinds of economic policies but have any of them controlled inflation?
Most of them did the same thing -- printing presses and artificially low rates for a decade plus. Higher inflation has been coming for a long time, the last two admin just poured rocket fuel on the embers.

Bethany was for sure. Quiet neighborhoods adjacent to the beach creating uncrowded, semi-private beaches, rather than a traffic-lined thoroughfare loaded with parked cars overcrowding the sand. More like OBX than JS.

Not saying every NJ beach, necessarily, but definitely the average, especially in Monmouth or Ocean.
Sssshhh!!! No, NJ beaches are wonderful. Nothing to see down here in Delaware.

When I retire, I just want to relax, travel and not worry about anything. So tired of this mess.
That’s what I did last July. We just got back from 2 weeks in Europe doing a Rhine River cruise. We visited Lucerne, Basel, Strasbourg, Koblenz, Cologne, Kinderdijk, and Amsterdam.

Now I am focused on feeding my deer(they’re getting horns), feeding the birds, and installing bug zappers to kill the mosquitoes!

Retirement is a good place to be!

Seventy-nine now. Never had the desire to retire early. I worked for the federal government for 30 years and retired with a very nice pension. In retirement I worked 10 years for the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Loved it. Retired in my early 70s. Great university and town but stressful job. Intellectual diminution creeped up on me. Retired to the beach in the largest house we ever owned. Besides bike riding and some weight lifting I do as little as possible.

Between my wife and I, who is also a retired fed and state of Wisconsin employee, we now have a yearly income larger then we did when we were working.
