Guys, there are times the politics just need to stop. The Newark Airport thread was also actively assisting some of us with flight plans and it was good to get info from others on here.

Maybe if the moderators would moderate instead of letting MIRah, aBkJ, and the moose run loose, threads could stay here.

I plan to book an August flight out of Newark soon so I am interested in how many options I will have.

I usually book a car service but my sister who travels way more than I do said book a hotel by the airport the day before and use their shuttle service instead. She said she gets 8 days free parking at the hotel even when she only stays one night.

She travels way more than I do and has all kinds of points for the hotels and airlines so that might be the reason. She always flies in first class.

I fly the cheap seats.

Some people carry on about it like cranky little girls in party dresses.
I've been part of forums that have a place just for long running OT threads - which this place is getting a lot of.

At Anandtech they had good rules like the first one:

"1) No trolling, flaming or personally attacking members. Deftly attacking ideas and backing up arguments with facts is acceptable and encouraged. Attacking other members personally and purposefully causing trouble with no motive other than to upset the crowd is not allowed."

Everyone should post like gentlemen and scholars lol
