Visited my aunt in Granville County, N.C. near Creedmore and saw a Rd. called Joe Peed Rd. Thought it was funny. Still think it's funny and when I see it again it will still be funny. The funniest thing about it is I've been going there for close to 30 plus years and never noticed it before. Joe Peed Rd. I can just imagine someone where you live you say Joe Peed Rd. OFC

Near my old house there was Black Rock Road. Someone had gotten a letter from the hardware story and made it into Black Cock Road. I lived there for years; somehow, the town never got around to fixing it. I always found that surprising.

If you were near Joe Peed Rd then you were really close to me because Joe Peed Rd cuts across the road that I live on. As a side note from what I’ve heard, Joe Peed Rd is actually named after a real person. lol

A college town in northern Minnesota has a road called Exhibition Drive. Let's just say it's always been a bit of a hangout for some of the students and you can see some things, sometimes.

There’s a town in the county I live in here in NC called “Shoofly” but it’s actually just a line in the road, there’s a sign that says “Now Entering Shoofly” and when you pass that sign it says “Now Leaving Shoofly” on the other side of the sign. There’s a story behind it, supposedly a bunch of old guys were sitting around one day and one of them said the next word that one of us says will be the name of the town and a fly kept flying around them and one of the guys swatted the fly away and said shoo fly and that’s how the town that’s just line in the road came to be.
