I'm under the impression you are in law enforcement, so I know you're exposed to this stuff, but that story above actually involved a law enforcement official. Worked at one of the 3 letter agencies, back in the day when they covered that stuff up. He never spent a day in jail over it and the girl is permanently messed up. We've tried dating a few times, and she is beyond beautiful, she's the one addicted to crossfit and is just a wonderful person inside and out, but she never quite got past that, and who could blame her, but that guy screwed her up for the rest of her life. TMI alert..my eyes are actually a bit misty typing that...she's awesome, just messed up in the head with relationships and men now
Hard to believe it’s been 20 years - which means it’s hard to believe he’s getting out of jail. The KC Star has a series this week on that entire case. I’ve read the first two installments, which have been interesting.
It just never ceases to amaze me how guys with everything in the world going for them can jack up their lives (and in this case, many others) out of stupidity; selfishness, ego, and whatever else.
