Judging recent threads, I'm curious, do you guys only play sports and shooters?

I'm a pretty avid gamer on both consoles and PC, and haven't touched a sports game or shooter outside of Mass Effect or Borderlands in a decade, I'm curious what genres you guys get into.

Titanfall 2 Beta is out this weekend also.

I'm actually really looking forward to this game. I have a xbone, so I was able to play the first one. It's really fun. They nailed the movement in the game. Plus this one has single player campaign. This and Destiny's expansion are what I'm looking forward to this Fall.

I mainly play shooters and/or action adventure. I don't really have a PC worth a crap, so I'm mainly a console gamer. I haven't played a sports game in about a decade, but I'm real big on online co-op games. I have a brother who has a comparable work schedule to me, so we like to co-op and drink beer a couple of times a week.

I only play mmorpgs and dungeon crawlers. My reflexes aren't good enough for FPS anymore. Plus my feelings hurt when a 9 year old calls me a newb ***.

I used to play sports games & first person shooters. I did most of my PC gaming in my preteen years. Strictly console now. I quit sports games when QB vision was introduced. Quit FPS on the last Medal of Honor. Both genres got too complicated for my casual enthusiasm. I mainly play action/adventure & open world/sandbox games...simply single player "story mode". I don't play online.

I play the Battlefield games. They seem to be better for casual gaming than the COD games which I hate. Uncharted is great, especially for the story mode. I hardly ever play sports games anymore because they've become too complex. I play Rocket League if you want to call that a sports game.

I agree. The spots games have become way to complex. Even the last year of NCAA Football was more than I cared for.

MLB Road to the Show is the only sports game I still play, but I only play that as a pitcher. Otherwise, it's one player RPGs for me, e.g. Fallout, Skyrim, Borderlands, Dragon Age, and Witcher. I'm a fantasy nerd, though.

Nobody here plays Forza? I didn't think it would be fun as I don't give a **** about cars, but boy was I wrong. It's one of my favorite series. Forza, Halo, and Rockstar games for me

This year I have played and really enjoyed FIFA, Metal Gear Solid V and Witcher 3 on XB1.
My wife likes to play co-op platformers, so we've been playing the latest Donkey Kong on WiiU.
Here lately I've been getting into DOTA 2 on PC. It's a ton of fun, but super detailed and a huge learning curve so I mostly play solo bot matches and the occasional co-op bot match.

I mostly play on the ps4. FPS are what I enjoy but not the pvp aspect. Bought Xbox one last month to see what the halo hype is about. Didn't finish the first game before losing interest. Just seemed to g rated. I play strategy games on the pc when I play anything on the pc.

The first game as in Combat Evolved? The story and games get better, but the real fun is the online play, or at least it was when it was made by Bungie. I try real hard to like 343 but it's just not the same. Halo 3 came out while I was in Starkville. Mid afternoon to at least midnight Monday-Thursday for a solid year, then depending on what went on during the weekend depended on how much was played Friday-Sunday. My grades suffered and I stayed broke with no job.

Yes. Bought the disc with halo 1-4. Don't care about pvp. Was looking for a good campaign mode.
