OT: Prayers for those in Austin

Bombing a more affluent neighborhood this time makes it more likely some security camera at a nearby house caught something! Hopefully they catch this SOB quickly.
I live in Brushy Creek just north of Austin. I've got 3 cameras on the outside pointed in various directions, but I certainly hope they catch this dude before he has a chance to expand any more.
I'm heading out your way soon. I like it out further west. Not quite as crowded but you can still run down 183 to downtown or jump on the train and go downtown.
Getting worse. This bomb had nails and shrapnel in it. Said it detonated when it fell off of a conveyor belt to one below. Thank goodness it fell and went off. This is one sick s.o.b. out there and he needs to be caught soon.
One just went off about a mile from my old house....far south side in Austin. Wife is there for work this week just let me know
FedEx has said they turned over some information related to the sender to the FBI. Hopefully he is caught soon

When I heard yesterday he tried to send a bomb Fed Ex I figured that would be his downfall due to tracking and other stuff they do. Glad they were able to get this guy. I just hate it for the clean up crew having to find all of him to put in a zip loc bag to haul away from the scene.

Both political parties and sides have plenty of fault, but the the right/republicans are just now catching up to the left/democrats in thinking the other side is actually evil. Thinking the other side is evil encourages and justifies a lot more behavior than thinking the other side is stupid. "They're trying to starve children and deny them medical care" is a more effective call to violence than "the welfare queens are living large".
With the stereotypes of the parties being smug coastal elitists who look down on "real America" hillbillies and apocalyptic holy rollers who think America has abandoned God, I think you got that backwards.
One thing that stands out to me is they have already released security camera footage of this idiot mailing some packages but we are still waiting on footage of the Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock.

What are you talking about? You mean watching footage of the 9/11 hijackers getting on a plane could have possibly ruined the investigation....or a guy mailing packages....or an old man with bags full of guns walking into a casino.
It is possible but I highly doubt it would ruin an investigation at this point. No one is adamant, some are asking simple questions. I gain nothing, just like I gained nothing from the fedex footage, but the families that were ripped apart may find some piece solace.

Most of these losers are looking for what they never had- fame. I think plastering their ugly-*** pictures everywhere and crediting their forever accursed name for atrocities gives these sick 17ers just what they want.
