Does anyone have any suggestions on an inexpensive (under $150) speaker for tailgating? We have a generator, so they can be powered. Bluetooth would be a plus but isn't a requirement. Our group of 15 (sometimes up to 30) is just looking for something we can hear at a decent level, the shelf speakers we have now aren't cutting it unless you are within a few feet of them.

Ion Tailgater - we have 2 going at our tailgate. Not sure what the current model is, but just search for it online.
Glad you have had luck with them. I had two and each lasted about a year. Going online, it appears that many have had problems with this unit.

Wow, really? The only issue I had is that the battery went after about 6-7 years in my original unit. Replaced it through Amazon for $20-25. I have one unit that is 8+years old, another that is 4 years old. Run a splitter out of the iPod/iPhone to both units.

Good for you! I think mine were under the brand Transmogafier or something but supposed to be the same unit as the ion. I liked them while they worked and ran an iPod through them. Gave up and Bluetooth through a Bose noe. Glad they are working for you! Maybe I just had bad luck.

I believe ours are ecoxgear. Have two paired together for stereo sound. They are bluetooth enabled and the listed run time is 10 hours on a charge. My buddy bought them. Think they were in the 200+ range
