I have a Tribit Maxboom that would fit your requirements. It might be considered pricey, though (I think it was in the $70 range?), but I also got my mom their cheaper option(~$30), and it's good, too.

I recommend JBL

I’ve had a couple different models. The first was about the size of a coke can. Could be very loud and last for 36 holes on a full charge. After about a year, it got dropped on concrete, then made a weird noise and never worked again. I contacted JBL and they sent me a new one no charge. It got stolen. After that, I bought the one with a built in clip. It’s much smaller, not as loud, but loud enough to easily hear while riding in the cart. Probably not when 50 yards away. Both were water proof and fairly durable. The one that broke seemed like a fluke, it had been bounced around a lot prior to that.

2nd the JBL. I’ve had one for 6-7 years. It’s been to the beach multiple times. We a carry it on the boat almost every weekend.
Had zero problems except the charge cord is too flimsy. I’ve gone through a few.
Good sound and excellent battery life.

I have a Bose that I use for outdoor parties because it has big sound but I also have this guy for the beach, golf, etc. it’s great for a golf cart because it’s light and the design doesn’t get knocked over easily. It’s pretty weatherproof, I left it on my car after shooting fireworks last 4th and it rained overnight. It was fine. It is not waterproof however. The sound is good and the charge is fairly decent. Also the Bluetooth pairs easily and stays paired. I’ve won 2 other portable speakers at golf tournaments and they seem to lose their pairing too easily.

3rd on the JBL. Bought my kids one each several years ago as Christmas gifts. Like them so much, I bought one from myself and I actually better it than my Bose.

Can’t say I love your politics but I like your speaker reviews.

Thanks good sir.
You’re welcome. I have the older generation, but the ultra is waterproof and is 14 Watts and apparently sounds even better than this one. It’s 39.99 I think.

We aren’t so different. I probably agree with 80% of what you agree with. The remaining 20% I may be too left, you may be too right, but with compromise we can meet in the middle and keep America great.

Anker soundcore. The battery life is outstanding and it sounds really good. I haven’t found a better one out there for $39.

Those are the two I’ve owned

The Flip is better. Worth the extra $. The older version I had, had a loop with a paracord strap. I got a cheap carabiner and left it on there. Then I could easily suspend it wherever I wanted.

I've had a UE Boom 2 for a number of years that I really love.

Surprisingly good omni-directional sound from a device about the size of a Coors can. Decent battery life, waterproof, and relatively indestructible. It comes with a decent app for your phone and can be paired with other Boom speakers. I paid around $60 at WalMart but I see them online for less.

Use it around the pool a lot. Fills up outdoor space with decent sound from such a little device. I'm sure there are better products, but for the price it is solid.

Get the flip 4 its $30 cheaper and basically the same speaker. Has a "sub" on each side, sounds great.

Wonderboom. It's small, has 360 degree sound, water proof and the sound is great. I use one at the beach every weekend and have never had any problems. I liked it so much I bought two more for my kids.

Altec Lansing Xpedition. I bought the 8 first at Sams, it’s big as a suitcase but it has a huge sound. It’s heavy as crap but a charge lasts weeks and we use it almost every afternoon around the pool. I recently bought the 4 for portability , it’s about the size of a loaf of bread and has great sound. Haven’t had it long enough to even charge it a second time. You can throw both of them on the pool and they will float. They can be linked together too. The 4 is on Sams website for $80 right now, normally about $200.
