44 million over the next 18 years. That’s one expensive load blown.

The tweet is fake guys. He doesn't even make that much money
The tweet is fake.... but yes and no on how much PJ makes.

Child support calculations are typically based on gross income (not net). PJ is scheduled to earn approximately $351,000/month gross this upcoming season. So on that basis he does earn more than $200K/month.

However, when you look at his net pay, he probably takes home close to $200K/month. Court's don't use net income to calculate support, but they would certainly look at that if the resulting child support essentially left the payor parent penniless.

I knew a girl who did this. She told me directly that she planned to move to a specific city, stalk an athlete from a specific team (not a specific player, but just one from this specific team), hook up and get pregnant, marry, and never work again. She told me this one day; I laughed and thought she was crazy.

She did exactly that. Still living the good life to this day; doesn’t work. This is 100% fact.
I want to press the like button but hate the story. Sucks how people have goals like that

She groomed him since he was 17/18. I feel bad for the man. Some of you act like if a 28 year old woman, that looked like, tried to swoon you as a kid fresh out of highschool you would just tell her to screw off. It was probably his first love (or so he thought).

Honestly sick predatory behavior from her. If a dude did that he would be crucified

Yes and now the mother of his son refers to his son as “the (money) bag”. It’s horrible.

Fact: it’s not just athletes women are targeting to do this with.

I’m 30, never married, no kids. I’m a good looking dude, 6’5, get plenty of female attention but it’s just not worth it for me. I’d rather live that easy life with money in the bank. I went out with a 24 year old last week. Why would I ever get married or have kids? I can date and hook up with women all I want and never have to pay for their garbage. Just wrap it up

why more men don’t understand this baffles me. It’s not all women of course but you really can’t be too careful.

I wouldn't tell her to screw off. But I'd also make sure I didn't get her pregnant. Two completely different things.

Ummmm, believe it or not there are smart women that have a good job and are career focused. The no kids part is a personal decision that’s totally cool but I know a couple DINK married couples that are living the life and traveling all the time.

I said “it’s not all women”..you should be able to tell the difference between a good woman and a biatch.

doesn’t the nba do finance classes, maybe they should do a “find the hoe” chapter

While I 100% support what you’re saying, and it frankly does sound like a pretty amazing, carefree lifestyle.

But, my kids are the best thing that ever happened to me. Living life all over again and watching it through their eyes changed me in the best way. So, you could say I’m a guy who is glad he had kids!

I think that’s great man and if it works out, then it’s gotta be a great feeling. I just feel men are raised to think “get married, have kids, provide for my family” and women are changing the narrative on that.

We men need to be more careful now than ever before

I guess it’s just different strokes for different folks.

I was a lot like you a few years back. Then my first son was born and it changed everything. Take it from a guy that used to think identical. Don’t be afraid to marry the right person, and don’t forgo having kids. It can lead to the most miserable life you’ve ever imagined.

I also found that after I made the move to grow up and settle down, I was actually miserable without it. I just didn’t realize it because I thought I was having the time of my life (multiple women, money, etc)

With the right woman your finances improve, you get to see what being proud is really like through your kids, and you won’t suffer the fate of being 40 and alone. I know a few like this, and they’re utterly miserable and regret a lot.

Not taking shots or saying you’re stupid, but hoped you’d at least remember the post.

My dream relationship is having a life partner kinda thing. She lives an hour away but we do things together every other weekend. Then I still have my house, land, baseball cards, and loads of quiet time all to myself

she’s also really hot

Thank you for the insight, I mean that

Truth.

I waited until I was 29 to get married and 32 before we had kids. So I got to live a pretty fun, carefree life almost all of my 20s. That was fun for me. The kids thing now is like a totally new life. For me at least. Love my guys.

Yall believe this nonsense? Of course you do, its 2021 and critical thinking is dead. "The Hoop Bank" Twitter account with 189 followers says PJ Washington who makes like 4 million a year will pay like 60% in child support and it's taken as fact.

I waited until I was older to have kids. It is good because I was too immature and too selfish to have kids earlier in life. I wouldn't change anything, but my friends that had kids early are living pretty sweet now. There is nothing holding them back from doing whatever they want and it is amazing what you can afford when your kids leave the nest and start earning on their own.

We don’t believe the number. We know that’s been debunked. The conversation has simply moved on to related issues. That’s how thread discussions work.

Regardless of what the actual number is, it’s rather clear that this is a manipulative scheming woman who played a teenaged PJ like a fiddle. So we started talking about that …and that led to related tangents.
