Do you know how FBI and the Justice Dept. knew about the nuke secrets Trump had at Mar-A-Lago?
It has to do with Saudi and LIV Golf.

LIV made a deal with Trump to get him to host LIV at his golf courses. Trump did that since the big pay day was going to come from the nuke secrets.
I think Kushner had to be involved to get a jail free card. He is now untouchable by the Feds.

The Biden visit to Saudi Arabia had nothing to do with the oil. It had to do with Saudi and US security.
MBS lives and gets to rule. Saudi gets US security from Iran threat. In return, MBS hands over Trump on a silver platter. Kushner can point the FBI to the safe where the nuke secrets are kept.

Biden's visit to Saudi Arabia was all a pretense to fool the media and us.
Biden executed "The Art of the Deal" to perfection.

Winners: Biden, MBS, Kushner, Dems.
Losers: Trump, LIV, Republicans.

This is what I think makes a lot of sense knowing how Trump, Saudis and MBS work.

Until there is a book by Bob Woodward, we may never know.

Just to support those that jumped. They likely promised to sue and try to make sure LIV players have as many options as possible. Majors are the most important, then the PGA.

Dude, LIV is not suing. LIV players are suing. Got to spin correctly.

The biggest issue facing whoever sued is trying to argue irreparable damages. The judge in the TRO hearing kind of laughed it off correctly pointing out these guys made more money in two months than multiple years on the Tour.

The anti-trust hearing is going to be fascinating. Did I read correctly that the hearing may not start until fall 2023?

PS - LIV and their pros might want to get better attorneys. The attorneys in the TRO hearing were out of their depth and it was their own attorney that made the mistake about how winnings are earned.

The biggest travesty is the leaderboard at the St. Jude. If this is the face of the PGA Tour, they have problems.

Maybe not seeing the better known players leading will give more national expose to those on top now and help gain them a following in the Golf World.
That might help the PGA show that all the players on their tour can be expected to be in the running to take any PGA event they are in.

That or the big names on the PGA Tour are really not that good. At least Finau is trying.

Sepp Straka became the first Austrian golfer to earn a PGA Tour card,

JJ played his first three professional seasons on the PGA tour in Canada. He earned his first PGA Tour win at the 2022 Valero Texas Open .

Tylar Duncan, he has only 1 PGA tour win and that was the RSM Classic in 2019

Trey Mullinax another with one PGA Tour win ( the Barstool in July of this year)

Troy Merritt another unknown that might be starting to make a name for himself at St. Jude. He has 2 PGA tourney wins, last one in 2018

I know you are trying hard here but are the top players in LIV winning the tournaments? How many have DJ won so far?

Since it’s the playoffs I was hoping some bigger names would play well. Sucks when they come up small. It’s a great story for lower ranked players to win but today was a good nap before the Kenny Chesney concert.

I am a fan of both tours but was not referencing LIV here. And since you mentioned DJ, at least he finished top 3 every LIV tournament. Where are the big names this week besides FInau?

Maybe they are behind the players starting to make a name for themselves.
Most of the top players had to start below the top players that were there before them and their play earned them to be recognized as the tours better players even surpassing players that once were considered the best of the best.but couldn't hold off the new challengers making a name for themselves

unlike LIV, PGA plays 72 holes. It’s a bunchEd leaderboard with 21 players within 4 shots of the lead. plenty of “big names” are still in it. I know you are disappointed that PGA have cuts so you can’t see “big names” lose by 15+ shots after 54 holes.

I doubt most of the top todays leaderboard will ever be nothing more than average players. Beside Finau, who wins a major in your opinion?

My god, can NBC golf coverage be any worse? Now they have trouble with the feeds. No issues when on Golf Channel? Aren’t the essentially the same?

It’s nice to see the quality rise up today. Love that Morikawa is in the mix. All the pretenders are gone as you would expect in the playoffs.

Well I jinxed it. Leaderboard back to lacking big names again. Will looked liked he was in control now tied with Straka and Mullinax 1 back.

This is OT and I posted it on the Olympic Sports forum but think it's funny enough to post here.

In the past the USGA has paired players that have a connection like past champions, major winners, etc but think this was really ingenious.

Teeing off at 7:20 in the first round of the US AM at Ridgewood CC are the 3some of...

That is great. I love that the USGA has a sense of humor. I may run over to watch some of the action. I originally volunteered for the week but had to change due to work. As much as I love Ridgewood, Arcola is a great course.

One year they went with the all letters first name group - YT Kim, KJ Choi and YE Yang. They also went with a form of Charles group - Carl Pettersson, Charl Schwartzel and Charles Howell. LOL.

In the Seinfeld group after 8 holes Costanza is E, Kremer is -1 and tied for the lead at -2 is

He has. Oh and the attorney he’s using is Larry Klayman which is so on point and so hilarious. Read up on Klayman, it's hilarious. He sues everyone, even his own mother.

Some are opining that LIV is also pushing this. The lawsuit discusses how LIV is apparently a victim of an effort by the Golf Channel and Chamblee working with the Tour to discredit LIV.

Wake me up when the golfers start beating each other over the head with their golf clubs, or running over other players, during the tournaments. That might convince me to start watching golf which is otherwise as exciting as watching paint dry.

If the Wall Street Journal is right the LIV players aren’t as free as advertised


The Wall Street Journal report on LIV contracts had "unusual provisions," in those contracts such as requiring LIV players to wear LIV apparel even when playing in non-LIV events

This issue was raised during last week's hearing regarding the temporary restraining order that LIV athletes ultimately failed to acquire.
During the hearing, LIV lawyers stated that players would not be wearing LIV apparel if they were given the chance to play in the PGA Tour's postseason.

Also , according to the WSJ, LIV contracts also indicates that players can't give interviews that aren't approved and are required to help recruit other players to the league.
