Not sure if anyone is even paying attention to the anti-trust case at this point since it's a year away from being heard, but judge on case issued a split ruling on document questions.

LIV entered all PGA Tour documentation into the case (by laws, regs, etc). PGA countered by saying that LIV should have to show everything as well. LIV argued they shouldn't have to show anything including financial details, business information, etc. Judge agreed with LIV that certain aspects of LIV contracts, financial details, can remain redacted but stuff like media access, social media regulations, sponsorship rules, etc. are to be unredacted. LIV is also required to now make available all their by laws and regulations.

that anonymous PGA player sounds wacky. Very bitter
Why? He is right. It’s like me and buddies do a weekend golf trip format, less 50 million prize money. They should let LIV players drink booze to make it more fan friendly.

And that's just the team competition. The individual points champ gets another $18m. Good grief!

I am personally more interested in the PGA but they should be thanking LIV, even though I don't like how some of those guys left, or at least what they said when they did. As Michelson said though, somehow the PGA tour found another $300MM to fund and pay players.

That doesn't happen without LIV. Not to mention the hypocrisy of the PGA taking Saudi money themselves.

PGA players should send Phil and GN thank you baskets for finally giving them leverage against the PGA leadership that has treated them like crap for decades. All pro golfers are the winners with the new LIV Tour. Time for some of them to stop whining and show some gratitude.

That includes the LIV guys. Sergio squealed like a pig to get into that Euro PGA event last week.

Shoots himself out in the first round then leaves and heads to the Alabama Texas football game. He took some guys spot to do that bs. Weak.

why would he? Do other athletes give away their salaries if they don’t win that championship?
Not again……not falling for it. I think they stole my golf outing format. Do you think teams can press on the back or after falling behind by 3 holes? I think they should all be required to drink 2 to 3 transfusions. I need more of an apples to apples comparison to my game.

it’s a question and still confused why golfers can’t get paid a salary but other athletes can. Just don’t get it…

I guess I never will if you refuse to answer..but oh well.

More specifically. Why doesn't a player who travels. Incurs expenses. Entertains the crowd and is on TV for the first 2 days gets NOTHING if he misses the cut at an event that he must play to hit the required 15 event minimum????

He will say it’s because it’s an “individual sport” and not a team sport….right?

Without knowing 2 of the 5 largest contracts in sports currently are in athletes in individual sports (Alvarez, boxing and Verstappen, auto racing)

It’s because they need to make room for better players. It’s like real life. Time to find another job.

That is your answer?? Half the field get cut every week. So every guy that misses a cut should retire?? You know you are so wrong but continue to act like a moron.

Yes, if the same half of the field that miss cuts consistently. What’s so hard to understand.

Are you really that stupid or you just can't come up with truthful answers anymore. You were better off not answering.
Well, you asked the stupid question so I answered it. Now you realize how stupid that question was and offended yourself.

Those were the days, drinking a few transfusions after the round in the clubhouse. Was it grape juice and a heavy pour of vodka? Went down easy.

It wasn't a stupid question. If fact you can't come up with another pro sport that does that.

No golfer gets paid a salary on the PGA. Guess you didn't know that. Explains most of your responses.
What? Your responded to my question about tennis players. I’m 40 pages in this thread totally anti salary in golf. That’s the why I’m not a fan of LIV.
