People are realizing that the WNBA leadership is costing the league their shot at being relevant and profitable. This needs to happen and if there needs to be a major shakeup. Get actual executives in those jobs who know how to do the job rather than people who are more concerned about preserving their "kingdom" ahead of having a profitable and successful league.

The league has incompetent referees and leadership and are unapologetic about it. Phee with a competing league is definitely having a shot across the bow. The issue is, the WNBA is going to be behind the 8 ball with pay because the contracts the majority is going to the NBA. If a legit competitor comes into play it can eat the WNBA's lunch all day long. Phee is saying fix the issue or I will fix it for you.

Caitlin and other stars hold all the cards. They should refuse to play until there's a new commissioner, new refs, new rules that outlaw the ridiculous amount of contact . . . a whole new leadership to run the league like the NBA, the NFL, or MLB instead of like a local rec league.

To this point the commish has had the public support of her main boss, (NBA commish Silver, who looks like one of those hairless cats, lolol). As long as that holds she'll probably stay employed. If this bogs down, and she is a main reason I could see league owners get in Silvers ear and she'll probably be replaced.
