Doc's in Orange Beach, Go to the original one where 161 dead ends into 180. Go early. IIRC they will do a catch and cook for you as well.

The Flora-Bama of course.

Wolf Bay Lodge/restaurant

In Pensacola there is The Fish House, Grand Marlin, Nicks Boathouse, Captain Joey Patti's, the Oar House

Places to avoid: The Shrimp Basket, The Gulf (everything is frozen, nothing local). Sunliner Diner

If you can cook, you absolutely want to make a Pensacola run and load a cooler up at Joe Patti's freshest, cheapest, and best fish market on the Gulf Coast.

I'll second Wolf Bay Lodge. I was at Cobalt on Friday afternoon, they have a good happy hour (white sangria is excellent) and sitting outside on the bay provides a good view.

Don’t stop at Docs and keep going about 1/2 mile to GT’s on The Bay. You’re welcome.

Go to voyagers at Perdido beach resort. Chef there is a champ and is basically Emeril of that area. He’s a boss, good food, good wine list. Good views.

When we stay in Perdido (about twice a year) we always make a run at some point to Pensacola and go downtown. They have a wine bar, some great Italian places, and Jackson's Steakhouse is very nice (white tablecloth). Shrimp Basket is HORRIBLE.

If you're near the Bay in Orange Beach, GTs on the Bay had one of the BEST mule's I've had in a long time.

Here for the week. Can anyone recommend some restaurants down here that you like?

thanks

Best part of Perdido key is you can get north and away froM tourist traps easily, so take advantage and go into Pensacola. Or pick up good food from Publix to cook at the condo.
