I think I’m about to buy one. Trying to decide between a traeger or a green mountain grill. Which do you recommend?

Just got my camp chef delivered. Currently still in box so I’m no help.

I've had a green mountain grill for 4 years and have had no problems. I mostly do ribs, tri-tips, chicken and sometimes a pork shoulder. Cooks very well in my opinion. Have had no complaints about the quality of the results.

Can’t provide any first hand input, but my neighbor has a rec-tec. He loves it. And I’ve read a lot on Grills of MS FB page, and they always seem to have something good to say about Green Mountain Grills. And they seem to be at a nice price point.

Camp Chef use to be a client of mine. I regret not trying to bum their pellet grill from them.

I'm a dealer for Traeger and Green Mountain, I prefer the Green Mountain for the money. weight, placement of the burner, 2 fans. temperature increments, wifi for a $100 less then Traeger, Traeger is a good grill but side by side Green Mountain comes out a head.

My camp chef blew up

Bought it on clearance at Walmart but that little incident ended my experiment with pellet smokers.

Another vote for REC TEC. Grilla looks like a good one also, but love my REC TEC Bull.

That's correct, sir. Louisiana Grills produces Pit Boss. The Pit Boss Copperhead is a very nice and large vertical pellet smoker for $400. The only complaint I'd have with the Copperhead is it burns through pellets a little faster than a Traeger.

I have 2 Traegers, absolutely love them. I don't know about the others, I'm sure they are all good. Even if you buy another brand, save Traeger's recipe site, fantastic.

Sam's club had a very nice looking pellet grill on sale for $200 about 2 weeks ago.

I like their app. I have how to bbq right, Traeger, REC TEC, and Weber apps on my phone. Any other good apps or recipe websites out there?
