I’m still a little leery of going to a busy restaurant...but two nights ago, I got to sit at bar patio, have some drinks and talk about reopening our football season with another coach. It was great.
Going to get out more today for sure.

We went to longhorns in Mount juliet, TN yesterday (just 20 minutes east of nashville). No one except our waitress was within 10 feet of us ever. Theu had every other booth closed and it felt very safe. I'm surprised it was still like 50% capacity as in tn theu aren't requiring that. I guess it comes from company and corporate.

The virus is real and it will still kill a lot of people, but even shutting the country down again and destroying our economy won't help Biden beat Trump. Regardless of what all of the polls tell you, Joe Biden is not beating anyone.
I'm beginning to be there are enough *******in the country to do it. If he does, he's not going to be making any decisions.

Typical libtard coach. Hoax. Faking it. Trying to keep Trump from winning. Q will save us.
Were you one of the people who believed JFK Jr was alive and helping Donald run the country? That was a strange time in your cult. I was attacked by one of your cult's largest twitter accounts because I was making fun of the fact that grown people in the US believed JFK Jr was alive. It's still hard to fathom the stupidity it takes to believe the q stuff.

"Related issues"...my wife's mom has an in home and nurse told us that hospitals do this because they get more money from the deaths being filed this way . John Glenn's wife died last week at "100" and was reported from complications with Wuhon virus. Our PC also told the wife and l if we show symptoms that he will immediately put us on hydroxychloroquine and Zpacs. I'm 69 , she is 59.
Well, she lied or you misheard. They don't pay for deaths. Hospitals gets paid for treatment of medicaid Patients and uninsured persons from covid 19, like they would any other disease those patients are treated for. It's the same roughly $13,000 they pay for treatment to respiratory illnesses. The cares act passed by congress and signed by the president, does permit for a 20% increaese to help cover the additional costs associated with treating covid19, like the increase in PPE, sanitzation steps, extra medical care and so on. If hospitals get caught fraudulent diagnosing or charging, they will not only be held legally liable of federal crimes, they will lose their medicaid funding. Meaning all of these treatment costs will be left to the hospital to pay on their own.

I agree. Some people thinking it's "too soon" are the ones enjoying that unemployment check.
Actually, I still work my full time job from home. However, I believe the way we are reopening is ludicrous and dangerous. It makes no sense that Longview Tx had a COVID19 drive up clinic 1 time a week and a half ago. Our lack of testing is why we are currently the hardest hit country in the world.

Dad, it is indeed amazing how the virus can discriminate like that. I have also heard that it cannot exist in an abortion clinic but if I need elective surgery on my leg I can’t do it because it is everywhere in general hospitals
LOL, your ignorance is staggering. The ease in which they can manipulate you people with a few false equivalencies is amazing.

O wise one!!! Please enlighten the ignorant ones in your presence? We will be waiting with reverence.
I am curious as well. I don’t my mind being ignorant because I am ignorant of many things. But what did I say that was incorrect. My wife has multiple fractures in her foot and is in a lot of pain. Surgery cannot be done. But if she wanted an abortion no problem. Whatever else we can say that is a little odd

What kind of fractures and where are you located?

Also, abortions have a legal time limit in which they can be performed and aren't always elective procedures, but in many cases are medically necessary.

Jones fracture with parallel bone. South Carolina. Surgery cancelled because of Covid 19. We are still waiting until it is permissible. The doctor office said they will call when it can be done. I am not a doctor but I consider it medically necessary. I would disagree. Many abortions are not medically necessary and certainly many do not have to be performed immediately. Putting aside religious beliefs I can’t understand how anybody can say political factors are not at play here. They fear my wife will get the virus but not for a woman doing an early elective abortion? If one can be done both should be able to be done

Enlighten sheep who get their talking points from the same media members and only care about partisan politics?

I'm afraid thats not possible. I'm just saying we need mass testing and contact tracing in order to open the safest way possible. Thats all. You guy reject that because you know the fat incompetent buffoon you worship is too incompetent to pull that off so you accept having no plan at all.

I agree as many procedures as possible should be performed, particularly when they impact quality of life, but I can also understand the need keep people as safe as possible. I am guessing because the fracture type you described still allows for some mobility it isn't deemed essential. Here in KY they closed chiropractors office for the same reason, and I disagree as their services are life-altering for a lot of people. However, I can't see what about it is political. These are steps recommended by the CDC, which is a federal organization. They are also similar steps to other countries impacted by this, and less invasive in many instances.

Many are elective, but that doesn't mean many also aren't still medically necessary and need to be performed. Different states have different laws on how late into a pregnancy women can legally choose to terminate a pregnancy. Many women could have already been in the process of planning or scheduling their procedures when this began. Many of them likely would have passed that limit if denied access. What do you think is politically motivated by that. One has a legal time limit it can be peformed, the other does not. 1 can be life threatening, the other really cannot. Another issue you have to keep in mind is that pregnant women tend to be younger and less likely to get ill. And also, a very large percent of abortions are chemical and not surgical. Thus much less risk.

Some no doubt would say I am wearing a tinfoil hat. I prefer to say I am extremely cynical. I believe to a very large degree this shutdown is being politically driven . There is often no rhyme or reason as to what is open and what is not. Varies from state to state. Some states are quick to start opening others not so much. You can almost always know what political party is calling the shots by the decisions made. Some decisions are made in light of the election come by up. The stimulus package in the House is full of special interests. Planned parenthood is such an interest and my cynicism says that plays a part. It has always been that way. No tinfoil hats necessary. But it seems the politicalization of things is worse today. Bottom line is I think a lot of decisions are made for political purposes and power and not necessarily for the good of the folks. But I am glad we live in a place where we can disagree

You sir are evidently not WOKE...haven't you been awakened to the realities of 21st century. Liquor stores, pot shops are needed for the drunks and dope heads. Abortion clinics to KILL unborn children, but while those in your wife's situation must labor on pain. And GOD forbid people who want to worship can't even meet in a virtual church lot service... Yes sir ...you are just not with it. Now go vote for Joe Biden!

I think questioning things is good, but you also have to logically apply the facts you find. For instance, states are all going to be impacted differently as all states have a different demographic and geographic structure. It's not a one size fits all system. Nor should it be. But I have had no issue figuring out a logically reasonable explanation why most all industries that have been impacted are somewhat necessary. It doesn't mean I agree with them all, but it points to it being less politically motivated than you might believe. Also, the guidelines these states are using are coming from the CDC which is a federal organization controlled by the white house. So are you saying the guidelines are politically driven by the Trump admin?

Politics and deal making are about asking for the most and settling for the most you can actually get. For instance, the previous bill all included legislation very beneficial to big business and corporations and had a lot of loopholes for those funds to be abused. Particularly after the oversight the democrats got incorporated into the legislation were fired shortly after.

I do agree most of our political leadership is currently either corrupt, inept, or useless. I hope the country gets smart and votes in new leadership in most all elections this fall. Particularly the national races.
