OT: OLED TV’s

Anybody own one? Recommend any particular brand or model? Overrated?
Black Friday coming up and there are already some sales for 65” models in the $1800-$2000 range.
Seems like a better price point than they have had in the past, but still way up there. Curious to know anyone’s thoughts (including DS, of course).

Samsung 75 inch here and it’s awesome if you can find the content in 4K. I get 2-3 football games a week. But plenty of movies are in 4K, hopefully more content in near future.

I have an LG. To my knowledge, only LG and Sony are making OLED. LG makes Sony's screens. Sony applies their own software.

Personally, I love my LG55C9 (I think that is what I have). It came out in March-April I think, so I'm sure the prices are probably coming down quickly now.

Samsung are not OLED. The QLED is marketing to confuse people into thinking it is the same.

Bought a Samsung 60 " and it was awesome till it went out less than 2 yrs. old-woulda cost more to fix than it was worth .

I have QLED.

I prefer Qled to Oled because of the burn in risk. Oled won't necessarily have burn in but it does happen.

I was very concerned about it too, but haven't noticed anything yet. I don't leave my TV on indiscriminately. I also waited until this year to buy one in the hope that LG fixed the problems. No issues so far.
