It is difficult to surpass players like Ruth and Gretzky-
Though, I actually have Mays as my greatest player. His speed and fielding put him on a different level.

Well this should put a ribbon on any talk of the Mets throwing good money at Ohtani as strictly a DH. Good thing this didn't happen with his 1st start as a NYM. Great DH/pitcher, now going forward you have to see him as only a DH. Value goes down some no doubt.

Just stop. DJ is owed $45 million plus the remainder of this season. His batting average in 2020 was .364. The next 3 seasons are .268, .262 and currently .239. He is growing old right in front of us.
