Looking at the batting averages of Cespedes, Bruce, and Conforto is concerning. All hovering around 0.200. Thank goodness Cabrera is having a strong season.
Mets should rotate Wilmer/Bruce at 1B and get Nimmo and Lagares to platoon in the outfield.

He still skipped talking to the media yesterday so Nido the rook had to explain Harvey's pitching.

Yeah, that was a horses *** move by Harvey to do that to the rookie. If I didnt know better, hes trying to position himself to get released.

I don't know if I agree.
How often does the media interview Blevins, Familia, Gsellman, or Ramos after a relief appearance?

Depending on how the appearance went and if it was important or not then plenty. Harvey wanted all of the fame in the world when he was doing well but now that he sucks he hides like a baby.

Fair enough. Agree that he was a major media ***** early in his career. That ESPN photo shoot he did was cringeworthy. That is why I like de Grom and Thor and Matz. They just go out there and go about their job.

Harvey has been a harsh critic of himself lately. He has been open that he is not happy with himself or being in the bullpen. Not sure what would have been gained interviewing him yesterday other than him saying something to put himself in the dog house.

True. But say NO COMMENT or have the PR guy say hes not available. Dont send the rookie up to explain for you when he has his own issues.

My wife, who never listens to baseball on the radio unless she's in the car with me,said, who are these announcers their so boring? I told her it's the Yankee game, I just want/hope to hear their losing then I'll turn the country station back on. Christ TV and radio coverage really sucks for that team,unreal.
