Anyone have any nutritionist recommendations that they've worked with? Just had my physical and doc says its time to go see one. Live in Central NJ, but will travel - thanks in advance.

Google up all the answers that you will ever need. When you go to a nutritionist it will still be upon you to follow the Program that he/she will set up. A Good time of the year to make Positive Changes in one's life.Good luck.

Learn the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist and then see which is right for you.

Make a minor change for 1 month that you already know is bad (for example - replace a daily soda with water, cut out that 10pm ice cream, don't have a bottle of wine after kids go bed). If its a daily habit, try and limit to only a couple days a week.

After you make it a month - seek professional help in coming up with a routine that works for you (new routine may even involve putting the bad habit back in - its all about moderation and what works for you.

Otherwise you'll be wasting time (yours and the professionals) and money.

They cant help you until you are ready to help yourself.

Unless you need a specific diet for health or athletic reasons, the information they will provide will be fairly common.

Lorraine Matthews antosievetz in edison. Some family members have used her. An aside one of her sons is a graduate of RU. He worked with the football team while in school
