Interesting that there's no chorus to this song. Also like the sound of the keyboards creating a whirlwind effect / the guitars playing semi distorted or fuzz tone.

Lightfoot is one of my all time favorite folk singer-songwriters. That song was very popular in 1976, remember hearing it constantly my freshman year at RU. Highly recommend listening to Lightfoot’s catalogue of music. Bob Dylan once quipped “Gordon Lightfoot never wrote or sang a bad song”.
