In my Top 5 list. I can listen to that song endlessly.
That song, from the way his words tell the story so well, to how the music transmits the overall mood, to how his voice pulls it all together, is truly an artistic masterpiece (whether you are into that genre of music or not).

Lightfoot is one of my all time favorite folk singer-songwriters. That song was very popular in 1976, remember hearing it constantly my freshman year at RU. Highly recommend listening to Lightfoot’s catalogue of music. Bob Dylan once quipped “Gordon Lightfoot never wrote or sang a bad song”.
