That was the worst officiating sequence Shelby has ever witnessed. Overturning a clearly incorrect call to the correct one, which should have ended the game, and then overturning that call back to incorrect one after a ****-fit by the Cal coach.

The bogus overturn of an overturn cost his team a game. Sure, on the surface it’s not a good look to react like that but Shelby prefers that angry reaction to crying like a baby after a miracle win against a 2+ year Big10 doormat losing streak football team. It doesn’t get any weaker than that.

The ref clearly missed the call. The coach was extremely out of line. Thank goodness he was held him back or he would be in jail for assault.

Disputing, yes. Micah needed to head into the locker room showing his players he is fired up to support them through a tough loss.

Physical assault attempt, no. Theater by Notre Dame after the buzzer. Micah's message to team should be go into final minute up by five so what refs decide in last seconds doesn't matter.

Coaches get held back all the time to fire up their teams. Witness Dan Hurley, the most successful coach in recent college bball history. Dan is also #1 in technical fouls during that time. UConn assistant Kimani Young holds back Dan all the time.

"Spencer was a Godsend. Maybe because he wanted us before we wanted him. As a guard for mid-major Loyola University Maryland during the 2021-22 season, he happened to be watching our game against Villanova. That was the night I got ejected for making a gesture deemed unsportsmanlike, gesturing dramatically to the crowd to make more noise. When you win , it takes a lot for the school to fire you.
Complain about their behavior all you want, but the schools won't listen or do anything drastic , if they win, unless they make a bridge too far to be tolerated any more.
