I’m rooting for the Dodgers to bring us closer to a salary cap.The entire civilized world wants a Rays/Brewers series, except for MLB.
Manager: What did he do?No balk. The Ump has some spaining to do.
Be pretty cool to see Guardians win with lowest payrollI’m rooting for the Dodgers to bring us closer to a salary cap.
Enjoyable game with some clutch hitting by the Brew Crew in the late innings.Brewers 7-4 final.
It'd be even better if the Brewers were still in the American League and Cleveland was still the Indians.First pick for WS - Brewers-Guardians. Two long suffering fan bases.
next is Brewers v Rays. Rays may not get much fan support, but they build teams the right way.
**** the dodgers
It is interesting that so many posters, including me, post that we need to increase our NIL so we can get better players. This is what the Dodgers do with free agent signings. Why the animosity? The team with the highest payroll in the MLB just got swept.

And I am a Dodger fan since 1955 when I was 7 years old. Some good years, some not so good ones.I hate the Dodgers w/ or w/out a massive payroll.
My Dad played for the Giants and I'm a former Giants fan going back to Murcer, then Will Clark, Robbie Thompson, Matt Williams, Kevin Mitchell, and all those guys. And I am a Dodger fan since 1955 when I was 7 years old. Some good years, some not so good ones.
Wait until next year.
I feel like they have a better opportunity to draw more fans with their new location by Raymond James than anywhere in St. Pete. I lived in Orlando for 20+ years and went to the Concrete Jungle just a handful of times because it was a frustrating effort to get to St. Pete for a night game. With the new location, it cuts down 45 minutes to an hour of drive time for those coming from north & east of Tampa and for the Rays, hopefully it'll attract people from Orlando/Lakeland/north of Tampa to show up for more games.Everyone loves the Indians. I don't know - something about the Rays.
Has anyone been to the Rays' dome this season since hurricane reconstruction? It actually looks pretty cool. Why do they need to move?
I do agree with that to a point, and agree with getting closer to Orlando. Which is why the Marlins made a huge mistake banking on Little Havana. They should have moved north to Palm Beach and open up the now exploding Treasure Coast market, while retaining Ft. Lauderdale. The Panthers look like geniuses getting out of Miami.I feel like they have a better opportunity to draw more fans with their new location by Raymond James than anywhere in St. Pete.
