This thread is still going? This must be the longest running thread of all time on this board.
I enjoy it, as it serves as a reminder how dumb I actually am. That, and anytime I have the opportunity to **** on that terrorist of an owner Jerry Reinsdorf, I will.

Two days of the postseason have confirmed what we all suspected was true: The AL Central was the toughest division in baseball.

So the White Sox weren't really that bad? 😄

Congrats to the Tigers (and Royals). The Astros just couldn't put it together this season. They started slow and finished flat. I was worried about playing the red hot Tigers, for good reason. AJ Hinch got the last laugh. Good for him.

I don't believe you, Rob Manfred, that the "Golden At-Bat" is off the table now. After all, the NL uses the DH now. You're floating your little trial balloons to get people talking about it and are going to work behind the scenes to keep changing the game little by little.

Soto gets more $$ than Shohei, especially when you consider a) deferrals, and b) theft by translators.

It’ll be so funny to watch the Mets be awful again next year.

Maybe Soto will suffer a career-ending wrist injury on a Golden At-Bat.

Aren't the Mets still paying Bobby Bonilla's contract?? Now they have another contract they'll be paying basically forever!!

bonilla’s contract had deferred money that was paid over the course of his lifetime. This one doesn’t but is a 15 year contract. This is just stupid money and will end up working out just as well for the Mets as Bonilla did.

I know.... it was just an attempt at a joke about the Mets and long, bad contracts
