Hey everyone. Sorry if this topic is being discussed in another thread (I searched but didn't find any).

Just wanted to share a project that I recently started getting into. I know this isn't for everyone and I'm not here to be a salesman.

It's on CDC's (crypto.com) platform. Project of the NFT is called Ballies. Very interesting roadmap they have for it. Starting to get NBA players on board. First player was Jusuf Nurkic, Center for Portland Trailblazers.

As always, Go Big Red!

90% of nft's are scams, this looks like one of them.
While i agree with you on that, I'd like to know your reasoning for saying that about this.

It's a curated artist on one of the biggest platforms currently. I've been there since the beginning and seen them first hand give away playoff tickets. Real people I talk with on the daily.

Nice, so you “invest” in NFTs on one of the “biggest platforms” and someone got “playoff tickets”.

The question isn’t why are NFTs a scam and a variation of a pyramid scheme (because they are), but to ask what good do they actually do and to try to do describe it without using vague pyramid-level language, or vague references to “the future”, or mentioning how “some NBA player signed up” and how someone got a “playoff ticket”.

I can see a purpose for NFT's used as tickets. NFT's sold as art thinking it's going to be worth more later is the scam. Nobody will care about your picture of an ape 10 years from now. The NFT is just a link to the picture and if the link changes or the network the link is on goes down or disappears, so does your NFT. So nobody can guarantee your NFT will even be around 10 years later to resell.
