Sadly, I find myself "voting against" a lot more than "voting for" candidates these days .I see nobody worth voting for.
I have resolved to stop doing that. I either don't vote or write in.Sadly, I find myself "voting against" a lot more than "voting for" candidates these days .
For me it depends on how close the election is and how much I want to avoid one of the candidates. If I feel strongly about someone not being in office and it’s a close race, I vote in opposition. In any other scenario where I don’t like any candidate, I write inI have resolved to stop doing that. I either don't vote or write in.
Ah yes. Electing a billionaire to the top post. What could go wrong?Delbert is way to old, and is a big fat "Hell No" & frankly, he should know better than to run
Shad.....would be interesting, but, me thinks Shad is just another politician w/ a book
Lynn Fitch....absolutely not.
Gipson.....frankly, I look at the fairgrounds and how it has been maintained, and just don't see him being qualified to run the state.
Duff.....beyond successful businessman. Will receive my vote
**I'm tired of politicians and lawyers. I want to elect people that have actually worked in the real world

never heard of her....is she related to Colonel Lingis?Aapparently there's another female republican out of Madison expected to announce this week. Connie Lingis (R) set to speak on Wednesday night on wdam
you're right about this....I used to keep an open mind about candidates, regardless of party affiliation....but these days i have to vote against anyone with a D next to them...sad to see what has happened to the Dem party....Sadly, I find myself "voting against" a lot more than "voting for" candidates these days .
I wonder if he’s shape shifting into Mitch McConnellyou're right about this....I used to keep an open mind about candidates, regardless of party affiliation....but these days i have to vote against anyone with a D next to them...sad to see what has happened to the Dem party....
I listened to Fitch today....she seems to be carrying the torch for Tate....Tater is an awkward dude, but he has been good for MS....I like Fitch and have heard good things about the Duff beer guy.
Not sure but i hear she has a twin sister named Anna Lingis.never heard of her....is she related to Colonel Lingis?
AHHHHH, I think if we ever find out just how much career politicians have fleeced us, we will start to fully understand why giving greater consideration to those that have successfully run and grown businesses are worthy of consideration for government positions that were never intended to be CAREERS.
Once survived a raging furnace with his two brothers...I kind of like Shad for 4 basic reasons:
1) He is big on DOGE type governance.
2) Captain in the National Guard.....usually develops good discipline and protocol type skillset.
3) Seems to be a good Christian family man by what I've seen and heard.
4) Highly educated with a J.D. from Harvard.
The $TRUMP memecoin which is down over 95% and where he made $636 million.AHHHHH, I think if we ever find out just how much career politicians have fleeced us, we will start to fully understand why giving greater consideration to those that have successfully run and grown businesses are worthy of consideration for government positions that were never intended to be CAREERS.
....but sure, I understand the mentality that would cause you to reply the way you did
ok. I thought we were talking about Duff in the state of Mississippi for the governors race...The $TRUMP memecoin which is down over 95% and where he made $636 million.
The $100,000/month insider trading scheme.
Both sons are dipping their beaks in multimillion dollar DoD contracts.
And to think I was mad about "10% for the Big Guy"
I’m ambivalent on point one. Some good and bad depending on application. Do think reasonable accountability and clarity is important regardless.I kind of like Shad for 4 basic reasons:

I am mad about 10% for the Big Guy and this DOJ should be investigating it. In the name of logical consistency, I am mad about the Trump family’s grifting and they are making the Bidens look like a bunch of pikers.ok. I thought we were talking about Duff in the state of Mississippi for the governors race...
you should be mad about 10% for the big guy and many other things that politicians have leveraged for personal wealth. I know I am.........so see, we have something in common
Bro….on point 1…..if you only knew……I’m ambivalent on point one. Some good and bad depending on application. Do think reasonable accountability and clarity is important regardless.
For 2-4, I knew him back when I lived in Mississippi, though not extremely well. Was around him in smallish groups probably 20ish times. We have several very close mutual friends. I think he’s a moral person from what I’ve seen. The Phil Bryant connection was always weird but whatever… he got an opportunity when he was in college and it turned out well for him. He is smart but there were always smarter people around. The big thing I’ll say about him is that he has always seemed to have great discipline and effort, which can take you a long way
I haven’t seen it on the state level but have on the federal level, and the waste was a mess. I lean more on the “clean it up” side but have worked with some agencies more recently that have been harder to get things done with post DOGEBro….on point 1…..if you only knew……
Thought it said "Dilbert".![]()
(has Delbert actually made noises about running? I’ve not heard anything…)
How’s mee maw working out for yall over in AlabammerThought it said "Dilbert".

It'll thankfully be over soon but then we have Tuberville to look forward to.How’s mee maw working out for yall over in Alabammer
understandable......but, people who are already billionaires, investing in companies that get defense contracts producing new tech does not light a fire under me as much as career politicians gaining unbelievable wealth while in office, and having very strange dealings with other countries that we forward money to NGO's......you do agree, that is is a laundering scheme WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS.I am mad about 10% for the Big Guy and this DOJ should be investigating it. In the name of logical consistency, I am mad about the Trump family’s grifting and they are making the Bidens look like a bunch of pikers.
Yes. Yes, there is.We can agree to disagree for sure, but there is a HUGE difference in the 2 "family organizations"
Anyone equivocating what is happening in power now to anything in my lifetime is simply not being objective. There is general political dealings/corruption that we've become somewhat numb to and there is the level of immoral and corrupt that we are now experiencing. When it comes to actions, you can compare them. When it comes to impact, this admin is off the charts.understandable......but, people who are already billionaires, investing in companies that get defense contracts producing new tech does not light a fire under me as much as career politicians gaining unbelievable wealth while in office, and having very strange dealings with other countries that we forward money to NGO's......you do agree, that is is a laundering scheme WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS.

And the "little guy" got 90% off his dad's name. The $TRUMP memecoin which is down over 95% and where he made $636 million.
