Going to the Big Apple in June. Any suggestions on where to eat? Things that we can't miss?
No kids going but I am going with the in laws so can't get too wild.

also, i have never understood a person from a massive forest called Mississippi wanting to go to a massive city called New York and then search out the forest inside of the city. it's just weird to me. i got trees at the house.crowded with people from Kansas.

I know locals like to get all snobby with tourists in any city, but if I'm in New York for the first time, I'm at least gonna go check out Battery Park and look out at the statue, Ground Zero, Wall St., Times Square, go up in the Empire State, etc. Even if it's just for a glance and a quick picture.GratefulDawg said:Ignore most of the tourist things that you've heard. Stay out of Times Square. It's boring and crowded with people from Kansas. Skip the Statue of Liberty and the WTC. Ellis Island is a cool trip.
