tell me what you think of this new tune by Chester and Mark Morton of Lamb of God..Chester’s voice and passion was made for metal!

This is better than a lot of the recent stuff from Linkin Park. Hybrid Theory and Meteora were definitely the peak.

What do I think? I wanna beat the drummer with his own sticks. I hate double bass drum with a passion. The rest isn't much better. So...I give it a rating of awful to slightly less than awful. But I can't stand Linkin Park either, so I'm not a good person to ask.

This is the closest I can get to listening to metal of any sort any more. EDIT - Correction...I haven't listened to Black Sabbath since high school, which is the last time I listened to metal of any sort. Although our band covers Kiss songs and recently learned Stranglehold, by Ted the Sledge. :D

Although admittedly I could still listen to Rush 2112 nearly every day. Such amazing guitar parts, and of course Neil Peart was the drummer that all young drummers listened to in the 70s.

I heard this on Octane a few weeks for the first time. I didn't like it at first. But, after listening to it several times, I think it is pretty good. Chester Bennington had incredible talent. I still can't believe he took his own life. It seemed like he had the world by the balls.

I don’t agree it was their peak. It was from a commercial standpoint, but I loved some I’ve The later, more experimental stuff.

I think it's fine compared to some of the stuff linkin park was putting out at the end. When I read the thread title I was expecting a heavier metal this would've fit in on one of their albums.

it sort of reminds me of Three Years Hollow, but I like this much more:
I think this track is about 10 years old, but it still really rips.

You definitely peaked in high school!

Burning metal through the atmosphere
Earth remains in worry, hate and fear"

SorryModern Heavy metal has losts its Soul! It’s missing the Blues and Jazz influence of Zeppelin John Bohnam The Beast Bonzo. Black Sabbath carried the torch for years a alongside Metallica and Motörhead. And many other Great Bands. Everyone of this Bands were fueled by amazing Drummers/percussionist and the best Base players alive. With killer slayers on lead. Cream The Doors and Zeppelin. The Rushmore of percussionist Bohnam Appice Densmore Peart Black Sabbath And Metallica are still amongst the few Heavy metal bands that get what music is about (The musicians)and being the best Drummer Base player lead guitar and front man alive we need to bring back the heart of Blues Jazz Soul Blind Willie Johnson The Purdie Shuffle some of The Godfather’s of all the Great music. Why the h3 is everyone just making noice now. With all that said it’s not the worst I have heard lately
