OT: Netflix Shows

I just started that show this weekend. Gone through 2 episodes..seems okay so far.Not Netflix, but the second season of Killing Eve just started on BBCAmerica.
A lot more fun than the overly serious The Americans.
I don't like the MI-6 woman. I just don't care about her. I think as viewers we are supposed to be "rooting" for both main characters. But the hit woman is so much fun, it makes the series worth watching.
Just saw a pretty good new movie on Netflix: "Brampton's Own' . An unsuccessful 10 year minor league baseball player returns home with a heavy heart after deciding to call it quits and retire. Not an easy adjustment going back home.

Aussie export on Netflix .. WANTED.. pretty good.. kinda like The Fugitve meets Thelma and Louise.. Down Under

Just started episode 10!! I haven't left the couch in hours. I love it! Edit: great ending.. If you like this I recommend Big Little Lies on HBO.

Big Little Lies on HBO... Extremely well acted.. I wish they allowed streaming of the whole season. I guess I will wait for most of season 2 to air before streaming them. And good comparison with Dead to Me.
Just finished the season last night as well. I'll have to look into BLL, but I think I'm gonna try The Last Kingdom next.
Finished Ozark season 2, finally. Season 1 is good, season 2 is great!
I’ve been burning through The Office, too. Im a big fan of the UK version so could never bring myself to watch the NBC one until now. Love it, and 20 mins without commercials, I can usually watch two a day on the bus home from work.

oh.. that cannot be the end of Dead to Me.. can it? Sure, Lost might have been better without any resolution rather than the one we got.. but it would be so weird to start a series with classic Hitchcockian suspense.. that is, we knew who did it, and saw the dance around it with the 2 leads... but to end with a "who done it?" Nah.. has to be a season 2.
On Netflix in-general.. reading how their programming sources are abandoning them to roll their own.. I think the price might be too high for what you get sooner rather than later.
You're right I'm sure there will be another season. I just meant I liked how these episodes were only 30min so I was able to get through quickly. Don't even get me started on Lost. :angry: lol
so many hour-long shows just waste time.... these episodes ran 26 to 33 minutes.. I think a standard network TV half hour show is 21 minutes. They got a lot done in a short time and it never seemed rushed. Good writing, good acting.. good TV.
