My mechanic Angelo is a very good friend of mine, known him for decades, he and I are around the same age. (I turn 29 in March. Again.) Anyway, he's an independent mechanic with his own shop, and he's gone from having 2 mechanics working for him to none. One left this past November, abandoning his wife and 2 small children to go down to SC. The other just ended up in the hospital and Ang is not sure when he'll be able to return. So he is really strapped right now, can't accept any new business until he works through the backlog at the shop.
So this is just a shot in the dark if anyone knows of a mechanic looking for work or even a retired mechanic who could use a one or two week payday. My friend's shop is in Hawthorne. Thanks!
