UCLA took care of business in OT. PAC 12 represented well.
Three teams headed to the Elite Eight.

I’m not really a Duck or Trojan fan, but I’ll think of this next game as Team that Crushed Iowa vs. Team that De-pantsed Kansas.

yes - I was only commenting on their first three games - if they end up playing UCLA - that would be their 4th game
Wow did you figure that out all by yourself? Way to go! Put a smiley face by you're name.

Oregon's comeback falling short. Ducks were a bit flat tonight - thrashing Iowa must have been their Super Bowl.

UCLA - new hire in year 2 going to elite 8

what a concept that a program should expect improvement after investing millions in a program

Beavers looked completely dead in the water (pun intended), and then Houston broke out the prevent offense. I will never understand why a team that's totally controlled a game decides to put on the emergency brake and start using clock with 8-10 minutes left, but it happens a lot. OSU suddenly right back in it.

Congrats Kelvin Sampson! The MAN only knows success wherever he coaches and doesn't make excuses or wait YEARS for progress either.

I was screaming from the rooftops about Nebraska getting him or Tyron Lue when they had a chance a few years ago. Of course Nebraska fans and the media had their sites set on their GREAT HOPE Hoiberg.

Of course people can continue to talk about him winning a tournament game a dozen years ago in the Big 12 while real teams with real coaches doing it now, 5, 10, 15 years ago for ALOT LESS $$$!

Dude is a slime but he can coach! I sort of wonder if he has either learned to cheat better (probably) or just stopped cheating.

Either way, I would take him.

Yeah I remember Sampson's name coming up after Miles was fired. I was all in favor of hiring him, actually. Sampson has some baggage, but some of the biggest cheaters in the history of the sport - Larry Brown, Eddie Sutton, etc. - are treated like kings with impeccable reputations after a few years pass. I can see that happening with Sampson as well.

Not sure Sampson would have taken the NU job, but then I didn't think Hoiberg would either.

I think USC forgot they had to play tonight. Getting a whooping by Gonzaga.
USC is a strange team. Came into the game 25-7, yet lost to Colorado three times. Not that the Buffs are bad team - probably top 25-30ish - but USC losing to them three times is hard to figure.

Guess they don't call three seconds anymore either. Timme, at the 10:11 mark, didn't get out of the lane until 10:05

Wolverines erase a big lead - with a little help from Bo Schembechler Boroski.

and just like that, the biggest fraud conference has been eliminated

B1G remains a total joke

what a run by the Bruins
  • Worn down by the meat grinder schedule
  • Hard to shoot in a dome
  • Had to adjust to tighter officiating
  • Looking past the Bruins to the matchup with Gonzaga

Did I miss any talking points?
