Welcome to unlimited transfers in the NiL portal era I have nothing against the NIL . Get what you can . But the unlimited transfers has to be stopped that’s just ridiculous.

4th team and 2 years left to play. Interesting. Might be in his best interest to stay here the next 2 years. So the guy is going into his junior season and has played in the SEC, ACC, Big 12, and now Big 10? This guy has traveled the whole country.

That would be nice but I was thinking more along the lines of running more true sub packages (nickel, dime). Moving more CB’s to Safety to play more Cover 4, etc. But covering receivers is good.

Nebraska recruited quite poorly at that position in 2022, 2023 and 2025. There were some good players in 2024, but way too many reaches in the last 3-4 years or guys that ended up at safety. I think/hope the new DB coach will get it figured out.

Hopefully get some good guys they have confidence in. Just thinking out loud who do you have confidence in outside of Wright?

Jones looked good in the bowl game but being honest I don't have much confidence outside of Wright. I'm glad they aren't standing pat on these guys. Keep bring in competition because these guys come and go so fast your depth can be challenged at any time

Well Chief Borders is listed as a defensive lineman on his transfer profile now soooo…. Wasn’t he a safety for us?
