Anybody think the week late defense he tried to use to get his suspension reduced?

Anyone here have a slur used on them and wait a week to tell anyone?

Mason Rudolph is extremely lucky to alive right now, he was 1 inch away from Death.

I was once called an old cracker but waited over a week because i didn't know what meant.

He was probably told right after the incident to not say anything. Plus, for him to want to nearly kill Rudolph, he must have heard something pretty offensive.

His agent probably advised him. Similar to the Miranda rights, he had the right to remain silent..
Who knows everybody is different. Different things make people tick.

don’t understand the why then at all. He gets a week of being attacked with his character, the appeal gets upheld and the charge goes through the NFL and nothing is found according to the NFL.

At this point, I’d be hunting for all audio and video around the field and asking for review. If it was said, get it proven for Garrett. By the same thinking, if I’m the one being lied about, I’m asking the lineman there in the fight to talk and asking for video and audio as well. This stain won’t come off and it ifs a lie, attack the lie. If it’s the truth I’m attacking to get the truth out there.

Would guess the video should give us an idea of whether this really happened. But I kinda doubt it.

Race card was his best shot to get it reduced. Should have never appealed. He'll be lucky if Rudolph doesnt file a libel/slander suit.

May some point when the race card is used as a lie to harm someone else or cover your own ***, yes there needs to be as much punishment to that person as there is for the person who does use such language and gets caught.

Of course it’s BS. Garrett is exhibit A on the protocol on how to act in today’s environment. People like him are the problem. What a little *****. I found me a player to really hate and root against. I really hope Rudolph does sue the **** out of him. S

Probably told to not say anything? How does that make any sense. Are you a millennial or something?

loose lips, sinks ships.
Ha! Do you really believe that crap? Yeah, letting people know that Mason Rudolph made a racial comment would hurt the NFL terribly. Dipshit pulled the race card because he’s tapped out. Freaking pathetic

apologize, sit out a few, and move on and hardly anyone remembers it.
he looks worse, now.
Shows his true character, or lack thereof. I love it. He deserves every possible ****** thing that can come from this.

I haven't followed the career of Garrett to know anything about his character, so I actually respected the way he initially responded to the incident by apologizing and seemingly taking responsibility for his actions. That respect is gone now. And civil rights leaders/activists should be really pissed when someone lies about something like this - "the boy who cried wolf" thing is real (but I'm expecting crickets).

id be surprised if the browns/league didnt encourage him to lay low. there was nothing he could say to make it better. but really, you can relax...

I am a bleeding heart liberal who believes that racism is persistent in nearly every person's life....that being said I can't imagine that Rudolf would use a racial slur when his own team is 65% african american. Rudolf did try to rip Garrets helmet off first and having been in many such brawls the most aggressive person will just go off if the weaker party fights back at all.

As far as I am concerned His suspension should now be doubled. This lie is just as bad as the physical altercation. I had a little respect for him when he immediately owned up to his mistake - now forget it.

Don't care if it happened...doesn't excuse the fact he tried to clobber a guy with no helmet on, with a helmet. Please don't try and convince me there are not a thousand better ways to address or handle that.
