Exactly!Good game but I was hoping Toronto would sneak into the playoffs, so I wouldn't have to root for both teams to lose tonight. It's like a prequel to the Penn State-Iowa game.
and BooneGotta be about time for the Yankees to move on from Cashman.
He is a terrible listen. And get Arod off the air, while they're at it.
He's horrible. Unbelievable that they've built their coverage around this known cheater and horrible person (lots has been written about how big a prick he is).And get Arod off the air, while they're at it.
reyes is not sustainable in that roleTough loss, but a bit of poetic justice. Bad lefty on lefty walk, then a Reyes fail. Pretty much why they struggled in the middle of the the season. Add a starter and get a healthy Flaherty in the off-season and this team will win the division going away next year.
I could probably stomach the Cardinals if Harrison Bader wasn't the biggest douchenozzle in all of MLB. Takes a lot to get me to root for the Dodgers, but he pulled it off.I liked seeing the Cards get beat by walkoff HR
I agree somewhat, although the win-or-go-home wild card game keeps the division races interesting all the way to the end. Everybody keeps their foot on the gas pedal because winning your division is wayyyyy better than second place. It just seems weird to me that the Dodgers miss having the best record in all of baseball by one game and they still have their season come down to a one game wild card playoff.
Yeah, I get it and I’m not necessarily clamoring for change, but it does strike me as being a bit unfair. Especially in baseball which seems to have more ‘anything can happen in one game’ factor than any other sport. Would suck to have your season end that way but that’s how the cookie crumbles I suppose.I agree somewhat, although the win-or-go-home wild card game keeps the division races interesting all the way to the end. Cards got a nice apartment in your head. Fully furnished.Cheer up, Cards fans - at least you get to watch Randy Arozarena in the League Championship series.
I hear what you're saying but it's definitely not unfair. Before the wild card 90+ win teams missed the playoffs completely at times. Also, I think it should be against the law to use the word "unfair" in any way related to the Dodgers.Yeah, I get it and I’m not necessarily clamoring for change, but it does strike me as being a bit unfair. 3rd worst attendance in baseball. Trash ‘fan’ base. Hate to see them win.But hey, how about that Tropicana Field??? What a **** hole. I hate the Rays fans that don't show up until the playoffs. I know COVID played a part but those fans still suck. I'm rooting for any team playing the Rays and I hope that awesomely run franchise leaves that city.
