Bigfoot, Sasquatch, whatever they want to call the made up ********. In this day and age of trail cameras, cell phones w/ cameras and video, if one existed there would be good quality photo/video evidence rather than all of that "if you squint, stand on one leg and look in a mirror over your left shoulder you can make out some fur....." kind of crap. This myth has been propagated since that original movie came out in the early 70's, if not longer.

I'm not sure one doesn't exist but I am 100% sure one is not in Miss. Small state saturated with hunters, his head would be hanging on a wall by now. As to the video that's a chainsaw making that back ground noise.

They don't exist. It's just that simple. If you watch the bigfoot hunter shows and see where all the supposed sightings are (basically the entire US) then that would mean there would have to be a massive breeding population. And with that many of them running around there would be solid evidence they exist. It would be a population at least that of black bears and while they are rarely seen there are enough of them that have been seen, photogrpahed, carcasses found, etc. to eliminate all doubt they exist.

They said his face was almost white he was so scared. He had been coming home from work and had hit something. That was not a a joke, it actually happened. I had no intent there except to relate what happened. The guy was scared and that was essential to describe how scared he was. just ignore the rest of the silly rinse and repeat drama in this thread. When does the season start and what is the limit on these things? They are probably pretty tough so I am thinking it best to go with a Nosler Partition or Accubond. Don’t want to be tracking one of these things in the dark.

There is no way it's possible we have a large primate species yet to be discovered. And I'll add to my post from earlier...supposedly these exist in other countries, too, which would demand and even larger population. While it's fun to imagine something like that being out there waiting to be discovered, and I love watching those shows where they try to find them they simply do not exist.

I think there is at least a 1/3 chance that something “undiscovered” might still survive in Siberia. Or at least did in the last 6-10,000 years. Most of these myths are based on SOMETHING. In that area tribes could have encountered them spawning both the Yeti legends as well as the Sasquatch legends by tribes as they crossed the Russian-Alaskan land bridge bringing the story with them. May have been nothing but a breeding population of big boned, hairy Neanderthals, but something. And Siberia is the one place a skeleton/corpse/fossil isn’t likely to be found.

I know this is meant to just be goofy…but there’s people who have convinced themselves around Adams County that something is out there. There’s an old story that floats around town, this guy is just keeping it alive.

I can tell you that Bigfoot is the last thing on my mind when I slip into the bottom woods in Natchez. Have you seen the size of the Russian Boars near Jackson Point? I’ve seen mosquitoes with running lights…..raccoons beat off turkeys….black bears tearing up camp light poles…

As animals get pushed to their physical limits, cornered up, they get more aggressive….defensive…which would lead to more sightings…but that evidence just isnt present. A yeti, sure. Big hairy thing in the mountains where it’s 13 below. Big hairy thing running around Giles Island….?

Bigfoot would be big17ed sloshing around in that gumbo.. Not a chance.

If a person truly believes he/she has seen a bigfoot in MS (and it is not an optical illusion), then mostly likely it is a black bear. Better chance of black panthers (which are also mythical) in the 'Sip than bigfoot.
