OT: Michigan / St John's

[Letitrip]

It has taken Pitino less than a year to be favored against Michigan. Say what you want about him, but the guy can recruit and he can coach. Love the tie and sport jacket on the sidelines too.

PE as usual.

Mish looks really good

[RUChoppin]

Man, I checked the score when it was in the 30s, and just checked back.... That escalated quickly

Disinformation on the court.
WE ARE NEW YORK’S TEAM

I thought Sewercuse was?

[bac2therac]

Michigan was picked 11th in the Big 10. They are off to a strong start

St Johns is overrated..havent accomplished nuthin, just because Pitino is coach doesn't mean a thing

[kcg88]

Michigan is the second-best team in the conference.

[runner1954]

Maybe it’s because Phil Martelli has been coaching the team . . .

Where is slappy?

[Greene Rice FIG]

Michigan has been great so far. Two blowouts over okay-ish mid majors and they also beat Marquette in a scrimmage.

Are you joking quoting scrimmage outcomes

[knight82]

So far so good for the Big Ten. Michigan and Purdue took care of business

[NY AGENTMAN]

I guess defense is a foreign word to St Johns.

If it jives with what we're seeing in games that count then yeah I think it's fair game to include.

[NewJerseyHawk]

I believe removing Hunter Dickinson as a lumbering big man, slowed down Michigan's wings and guards.

Michigan pretty much is a roster of 4* talents, so if they play their A game, you'll see a game like last night. Martell is an outstanding coach and I am somewhat surprised that Bryant's performance with Martellis son, wasn't given credit for a good plan vs RU.

I thought UConn was

Or Notre Dame, but the subways have become so dangerous that their fans may have moved to the burbs

Recovering from heart surgery

[FIJI'83]

Michigan looks real good. Can't wait for Howard to get back to coaching the team, maybe he will muck up the great job Martelli has done in his absence.

[RUPete]

I didn't realize he had heart surgery. I read up on it and it was a fairly serious procedure although cardiac surgeons do a lot of them these days and are experienced.

People never learn you can’t go by a small sample size. I’d argue Michigan is better with Martelli as coach. Let’s see what Howard does with them.

People don’t want Michigan to be good so they’re lying to themselves and saying they’re not.

[FinalFourOrBust_rivals142702]

Classic early overreaction.

You’re in denial buddy

What quality team have they played yet? I could care less if they are good or not.

I want their point guard

[goru7]

I want their point guard

He killed us in the late home loss at the RAC but neutralized and shut him way down in the win at the BIg 10 tourney. He looks better but he hit a couple of dagger 3’s against us at the RAC . He is really quick so this is where J. Mike , Noah’s and to a lesser extent Derek ‘s quickness have to be on full display.

Well not the guy who directly responded to me. Weird to leave that part out.
