I was not clear in my ?. Just thought it's a funny name. Like Weisenheimer.Whom would you have preferred?
I myself would have preferred Ross, but he was ineligible for recall.
Will CITI be selling Weisenburgers?

Love Gary. I must say, in this lost year, my attention span has been short. Also, I was pretty much emotionally blacked out for 8 weeks starting in mid April for reasons that are not worth going into. I'm back and ready for some playoff baseball. Did I miss anything? He had been up previously, not long ago, and had appeared in three games.
I recall Gary Cohen inadvertently referring to him as Weisenheimer. He quickly corrected himself.
Didn't miss anything. Playoffs start on 9/29. I assume you are not fussy about who is and is not participating.Love Gary. I must say, in this lost year, my attention span has been short. Fussy would be the wrong word. Disinterested if the Mets are not in the playoffs. College football (for now) holds much greater interest than baseball. For example, I will probably exclusively watch the Rutgers football game tonight and only peek in at the Mets game tonight (I know who they are playing). It will be interesting for me when Gary and Keith retire. Ron is OK, but Gary and Keith are the main attraction for me. This may partially explain why I don't immediately recognize such things as GG and why I don't recognize who is up and down from the minors. I give you guys a lot of credit who are on top of these things. Maybe when I retire, I'll dive deeper. If you have not fallen asleep, thanks for reading.Didn't miss anything. Playoffs start on 9/29. Please don't mention Gary and Keith and retirement in the same thought. I don't want them to get any ideas! I agree that Ron is not as much of a character but then every once in a while, he says something that's either a great point or one that just cracks me up. They are actually the reason I've become a Met fan.Fussy would be the wrong word. Disinterested if the Mets are not in the playoffs. FWIW, Stearns says "no question" Lindor will be the Mets SS next year.I’m just hoping Stearns realizes that a healthy Lindor is still the guy who helps this team win and isn’t still trying to show him the door during the off season.
Pete has 299 homers. Imagine if he hits it in New York?
In case you were wondering whether this has happened before... we can count on Sarah Langs for the answer, which is yes.Lindor also has 299 homers.
Why do you say Stearns despises either of them?Let them both get it in the first inning. If I were there- I cheer both these guys that Stearns despises as loud as I could
He never says it directly but just like any other player he has moved out, there always seems to be unnamed sources with negative things to say about them...And it somehow only seems to be the players that were here before Stearns or guys he never wanted to sign. Why do you say Stearns despises either of them?
Manaea's already served up two, but none to Alonso yet.Manaea is a real good buddy off Alonso's off the field, off season
Should get couple meatballs tonight
Unprofessional in my opinion. There is a reason why it is unprecedented.Unprecedented for an opposing player curtain call. Well deserved for Alonso300. Fire Stearns.

Our GM has alienated almost all of the fanbase. It is more about them throwing it in his face that actually for Pete.Unprofessional in my opinion. There is a reason why it is unprecedented.
No way. The fans have been chanting his name since he walked in the ballpark for 2 days now. He gave the fans what they wanted. Why are you such a Stearns apologist? Fire Stearns.Unprofessional in my opinion. There is a reason why it is unprecedented.
Cmon man ….be fair , he was fooled cause pitch was Exactly straight down the middle of the plateFriggin Alvarez. Swings at pitches out of the z8mone early in the count and then looks at strike 3. I would have much rather seen Torrens up in that spot.
I don't care. You don't take a curtain call in the opposing park. I can't imagine anything more disrespectful to your opponent. No way.
