If Pike had any money we would have a team with more than 5 Big Ten Players. The portal transfers on this team are not Big Ten players.

Mag quit on the team and he barely got money to go to BYU. Let’s not re-write the narrative. He was never coming back even if we were flush with NIL money.

Yes if we had even more maybe Pike gets in on some top flight transfers. Maybe they don’t want to play with Top freshman and lose state and games? Anything is possible

Two players don’t make a team. We have no inside presence. Teams make any lay ups they want on us. We don’t have the players because unlike other teams Pike had no money to get players. I bet you have zero dollars to NIL while I give 400 a month 200 for basketball and 200 for football because I want to win not just give opinions like 99% of this fanbase.

Defense is terrible but coach has a little to do with it. Yes I know he is a great defensive coach but results tough this year.

BS it was also reported he wanted at least a center and had no money to get it. If you don’t have players that belong you can’t implement defense and play it the way you want to play it.

People were begging for a big all summer long but Pike kept saying he liked where the team was at the 5 position. It was then reported Lathan pressured Pike not to bring one in and impact his minutes. That’s just facts.
So he was publicly going to say that he didn’t like the makeup of the team? People were begging but didn’t know we had 50 cents to give to a transfer center. You’re very misinformed about how this team was constructed.

First 13 games: 10.6 min (1 start, 2 DNP)
Next 14 games: 22.2 min (12 starts)
His offense/rebounding really didn't change too much from the first to second half, adjusted for minutes... so I'm assuming his defense has earned him more time on the floor.

It was said he had a big ready to commit but he wanted more money. Pike refused even though he did have those funds available, I forgot where the guy went instead..
