I think LSU unveiled this way too early. You can be guaranteed every SEC team with have these "A/C" helmets by August. They should have waited until warmups before the first game to announce these.

I agree it's all a bit much. Seems soft. But, on one of those sweltering September afternoons in Columbia, when temps on the field are over 100 degrees, I bet this would feel pretty nice. Think about it. When you're hot and you step in front of a fan, what's the first thing most people do? Get their face in front of the fan.
