My guess is Lavar was told/tipped off that Gelo would be dismissed from UCLA. Lavar can't have that, he's "undefeated, never lost. Now he can blast UCLA.

Lavar has ruined this average talent's life. Maybe the youngest kid is good enough to make a living with an insane father, but this kid isn't. He was never playing the NBA. If he plays in Paraguay he'll be lucky.

This man is out of control. At first I just ignored him because screw it he got three sons scholarship offers from UCLA. However, this is just wrong. Russ mentioned the possibility of Liangelo being dismissed so his career at UCLA was probably over anyway. However, this kid is not getting drafted. He should be in college somewhere

Please don't let how you feel about Lavar carry over to his whole family.
Lonzo seems to be a good guy from my limited exposure to him. Lamelo is just a high-school kid who, as far as I know, is easy to get along with & fun going. Gelo did something really stupid one time. Mrs. Ball has the toughest job of all, and she's recovering from a stroke.

Gelo's reason for shoplifting was that another of the UCLA players grabbed something in the Louis Vuitton store, and you know how it is, when you see someone take something, you want to take something too. Except the police had it on video when they arrived back at their hotel. LaVar Ball thought it was all no big deal, and apparently negotiated their return on his own, with no help from the embassy or the administration. What possible right does UCLA have to suspend my son from playing for no real reason? So he is yanking Gelo out of UCLA, to better prepare him for the NBA draft, or for playing somewhere overseas. Like Inner Mongolia? It is all still about LaVar, not his sons, who learn that stealing is not a big deal? UCLA now is Ball-less.
