Who cares what happens to the Balls playing careers....Any coach in the Country has now been warned of the baggage associated with any of the Ball kids,,,,,

I hope they do play abroad. They'll have to sign a contract that stipulates they must finish the season. And when Lavar pulls them off their teams for some perceived random transgression, they'll be sued or thrown in jail for violating the terms of their contract.

Ball is a joke, he cannot coach or teach basketball, just look at this kids, they are fundamentally the worse players I have ever seen. Their shots look like they were developed from watching 3rd graders trying to shoot on a 10' goal. The youngest one can only shoot, can't do anything else. Heck I played high school ball with a guy who could drain 30'ers all day long, but he never got a scholarship.

“There’s no need to break down a kid’s spirit for making a mistake,” Ball told TMZ.

For those who may not be able to read between the lines he is saying "Ain't nobody going to suspend a Big Baller".

truth be told this kid prob could not stay eligible academically and he is blaming the suspension for the reason for pulling the kid out of school, I mean if he hasn't returned to class he probably wasn't going to class to begin with. this guy has pumped his kids head full of all kinds of crap that they are willing to forgo their only real option at getting drafted. hope big brother needs 2 paid entourage members

this is just bad parenting.

I don't know the names of all these kids...but only one is assumed to be a guaranteed NBA player...

He better earn his credits and...and learn normal life.

Their father is trying to market his sons before really testing them and will probably have the same results as the Optigrab.

LiAngelo isn't going to play in the league and never was. So that's pretty moot. It's LeMelo that might be hurt by all this. He's good, and for as much as you can say any 15 year old might play in the NBA, he's got a shot to be a pro.

If they rush the process, he'll get gobbled up. Playing a year or two at UCLA or even overseas would be fine, but if Lavar tries to push him into the draft with the OAD gone in a couple years, it may end poorly.

Honestly, I'm not sure how long this whole circus can last anyway. Lonzo will be a longtime player in the league, but we aren't seeing him associated with Lavar as much as the other two at this point, and Melo is a few years away from college/pro hoops. I don't know how they hang around long enough for us to still care.

UCLA allowed one side show last year, looks like they would learn their lesson. Like Jabbar said they are making a joke out of the school allowing this clown and his family to even have a voice in any situation involving the school. What I think is strange is that none of the kids have the guts or smarts to get the hell away from the lead clown, and the mom is so afraid of being backhanded she keeps quiet, sad situation for her. How do they exist, how have they grown up with an idiot for a father.

Sometimes great marketing can cover up a bad product. Now if he can just sell his remaining inventory he can close up shop.

I feel we are going to keep hearing his mouth as long as he is still trying to get his kids paid.

Now Oakland University's coach sez he will take Liangelo in a heartbeat, must not be very smart, does he not know he would get Lavar too. He will be a short tenured coach if he signs him, has this coach been under a rock or is he mentally challenged.

What the hell is it going to take for the media to start openly saying that crazy ***-hat needs to leave those boys alone? Let LiAngelo make his own damn decision? Rest assured if a particular condition was not in play they would have, long ago. Reminds me of the Williams sisters crazy old man. Seems like I recall the pro tennis tour telling him he was no longer welcome. Best thing that ever happened for those girls.

I'll give this to Lavar, there's a 3 page thread on Cats Illustrated about him pulling his walk on level son from UCLA. Dude is a marketing genius.

While he is marketing his brand, and some might interpret that as being a genius, it's not going to help his kids in the end. So a few more people know about LilAngelo leaving UCLA and normally no one would know his name. How's that going to translate to a product, or a better life? It's not, in the end he's probably just going to blow an opportunity at a UCLA degree and career, something he wont match anywhere else.

The only way any of this works is if Ball in LA lasts in the league and has a super career. If he fades or becomes just another guard in a league of good guards, it's all going to fall apart.

I said at one time he was probably a good father, that what Steven A said was out of line when he went to his race as a black father. Considering the alarming statistics on fatherless households, I still think he was slightly pout of line, but still way more correct than I ever thought.

So the only punishment the kid got was an indefinite suspension? He wasn’t actually kicked off the team?

He could have served the suspension and moved on. I don’t think any of those kids CAN stand up to their father. He’s a fool

How many overseas teams will be willing to even look at LiAngelo given his record? There will be no NBA

Just wow

I didn't read all the replies yet so sorry if someone beat me to the punch.

Is this the definition of taking your Ball and going home?

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week.

I'll give Lafool a year and he will probably be incarcerated for tax evasion or something equally retarded.

perhaps the worst part of this is the national publications and social media that has been written and read by people in professional and college basketball essentially saying how this kid sucks and will never and more importantly was never going to play in the NBA.

No matter how hard this kid works, now matter how much he improves, he's is now going to have to do 3X as much as any other kid to get consideration while if Dad would have just focused on making the Lakers miserable, this kid might have quietly put together a career at UCLA, studded out his Senior year and had a path to the NBA.

That ain't happening at Oakland U.

I doubt that either one of them are good enough to play anywhere, that would be really funny, his boys just ain't good enough. The one in the NBA might not be around long either with the carnival that follows him around.

LaVar should go check out China and a supplier to make his shoes. I think LilAngelo, and Lemelo wishes he would go to China and be locked up for abuse of his children. What a total jerk!

No, they signed with an agent. Shoe salesmen, not serious basketball players.

Honestly, I doubt the youngest one, LaMelo, attends UCLA or plays college ball even if he were eligible. I could see Lavin simply stop calling or actively recruiting the young man and let the interest fade as he moves on to other targets that do not come with the degree of baggage, drama, or publicity whoring.
Who is lavin?

Steve Alford is one happy man.

Luke Walton is, TODAY, petitioning NBA to play the rest of Lakers home games this year in China. Rumor has it he has called Alford to get info on name of store the little angel got busted. Walton plans to have an assistant drop Lonzo at same store and hope he does the same thing. If that works I’ve heard a group of people are taking LaMar to the store after stashing his pockets full of merchandise.

Stay tuned.
Who is LaMar?
