If I were UCLA I'd run from that family. There is so much talent out there on the west coast. Why mess around with them? OK to win to answer my question, but is it worth it? Cal has done a great job of staying away from this garbage. And yes Lonzo that's exactly what your dad is IMO.

I don't know is any university will want to take a chance of LiAngelo Ball because of the extra baggage that they'd have to accept with Mr. Ball. If he holds his son out until next years draft, odds are that LiAngelo will not get drafted. This looks to be a lose, lose situation for LiAngelo Ball. Mr. Ball really needs to let his son set out whatever UCLA thinks is appropriate.

LiAngelo won't ever play in the NBA, so pulling him from a UCLA degree is a poor move.

Obviously the family can afford to send him to school anywhere he wants to go, but when you're not dealing with a phenom-type talent it might be wise to just let him go get his degree and become an agent or accountant or something and manage the family business.

This dude is like Jim Jones.. How are his kids not seeing how much of a dumbass he is? And decide to make their OWN decisions? If I'm liAngelo, I'm saying "Wait, hold on a second". You pull your kid from day care, not from his college.

I'll give Ball this, he has everyone thinking about him, and from a marketing standpoint, that's great.. But unlike the Kardashians, this is sports and you need to deliver. If his 3 sons don't pan out, the brand is DEAD. Lavar is on some scorched earth warpath and these kids are hook line and sinker. They will fade away with BBB.

Honestly, I doubt the youngest one, LaMelo, attends UCLA or plays college ball even if he were eligible. I could see Lavin simply stop calling or actively recruiting the young man and let the interest fade as he moves on to other targets that do not come with the degree of baggage, drama, or publicity whoring.

Steve Alford is one happy man.

Luke Walton is, TODAY, petitioning NBA to play the rest of Lakers home games this year in China. Rumor has it he has called Alford to get info on name of store the little angel got busted. Walton plans to have an assistant drop Lonzo at same store and hope he does the same thing. If that works I’ve heard a group of people are taking Lavar to the store after stashing his pockets full of merchandise.

Stay tuned.

This dude really thinks his kids are the future of the NBA. I'm sure he's expecting UCLA to cave and come beg them back and say they will play him this year. Or at least say "5 game suspension" instead of indefinitely.

He's wrong. Lonzo is the best of the 3. The other two are d2 low d1 talents.

He already played for Chino Hills. Give him enough rope and he'll surely be playing for Chino Correctional Facility before long....

The Article I read says he is pulling them out. Then it goes on to say the boy never returned to classes anyway. So Daddy is full of BS when he says the suspension is too long. He didnt even give it a chance.

He's still enrolled as a student at UCLA. Lavar Ball is so selfish. LiAngelo needs to man up and realize the opportunity his father just ruined for him, imo.
