Just found out from the NJLCA that landscapers are allowed to work per Murphy. We have to continue social distancing, 1 person per truck, don't each lunch together and wash hands frequently.This is a big load off my shoulders today. I don't know how strictly they will enforce this.

Was actually wondering this yesterday.

Makes sense - no way millionaires let their laws go to hell.

Another thought - assuming zoo/stable staff are allowed as well?

Funny. I saw more landscapers out working yesterday than anytime I can remember. Trying to get in under the deadline?

Its that time of year

Will be hard to enforce with certain companies where most employees do not have licenses

Would anyone know if the one person for truck rule is for landscaping only , I would think it’s all commercial trucking?

I don't know how the 1 per truck will be enforced. I just found out Landscape offices are to remain closed and retail establishments are to remain closed. I would think that are nurseries, garden centers. Though peeps van get fertilizer from HD, Lowes. My distributor will probably be closed so I may have to get from a place that sells animal feed which remains open.

Played Neshanic yesterday. Pro shop was roped off so you could only get to part of the counter and all of the rakes were removed from the bunkers.

Got this Monda from Bergen County.

Darlinngton, Rockleigh, Soldier Hill and Valley Brook are scheduled to be open but will have limited tee times available and will be closing at 3:30 PM due to the he recent implemented curfew of 8:00 PM.

No food will be available at any of the golf courses.

In order to protect our employees, the golf courses will only accept credit card payments.

Overpeck has been closed due to the emergency quarantine order in Teaneck.

Orchard Hills will not open due to construction delays. We will keep you posted when those are completed and the golf course can open.

Darlington Driving Range will be closed due to significant net damage during a winter storm.

Due to the escalation of the health emergency within Bergen County and the State of New Jersey regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) all golfers will be required to walk the course during play in alignment with CDC guidelines for practicing social distancing. The use of gas powered carts will not be available for use until further notice.

Courses will have a limited number of hand carts available for rental, however, it is encouraged that golfers who own or have access to hand carts provide their own if possible.

The Bergen County Parks Department Golf Administration Office located at One Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack will be closed to the public until further notice.

This will be interesting for the landscapers for our complex, as they come in with extended cab trucks packed with immigrant workers.

they will have to be dropped off at the work sites. I know alot of companies use a short bus to pick up workers at their homes and then bring them back after work...i dont see how they can stop that...are they stopping mass transit too..no more taxis, ubers, nj transit, busses.....

I have a question for all which I’ll get to shortly, I was just informed by a fellow employee that my company who is an ITAD Company recycling, that would be servers desktop pc’s printers network devices monitors basically everything that’s e-waste & data destruction will present us a letter tomorrow that tells us we are essential. Now my question is I normally drive and do pickups with a crew of 2 or three people but now since that most of pickups have be canceled they want us to stay in the warehouse to work “ok. Small warehouse between 25 and 40 people, can’t open the dock doors for security reasons very little ventilation besides ceiling heaters, but they do have monster paddle fans to push the air around. Maybe 35% have proper masks , no hand sanitizers only soap in bathrooms with no sanitary spray, small lunch room, no questions asked in regards to family members being sick. Is this acceptable safety ( health ) wise , and myself and some others are in there 50’s and early 60’s what the hell do I do ? :Shocked

Son in law does pavers and other landscaping. Looks like big local landscaper will not be able to bring in Mexican temps this year so my son in law will apparently be getting a lot of work from them.

Can't have an only this but not that in construction, you say only roads well what about leaking roofs. Should they just let them leak? Who determines what's essential and what's not? If you say well that's an emergency then what happens if my septic field backs up, is that essential or does poop fill my house? Basically you'd have to get case by case approval. I might as well get used to swimming in sh*t the way the government works.

LOL. Lawyers always get a pass.
We are patent law firm, but we moved everyone to remote working (including support staff) last week, as we were not confident in the measures to maintain the cleanliness of the bathrooms and common areas.

Not a doctor... But I work in paint & hardware... Keeping distancing from everyone and constantly washing hands, using hand sanitizer are the absolute best things you can do... Masks and gloves won't do too much for healthy people... Most important thing is to keep those droplets from someone infected from getting into entry points..(nose, eyes, mouth) so try to keep from touching your face as much as possible... At least wash hands thoroughly first....

Same here in FL. No rakes in bunkers and don’t touch the flagstick, just leave it in and remove the ball after putting out. Ball washers also removed. Takeout food/drink only at course restaurants.

A local club has stopped running shotgun tournaments in favor of tee time only. Too many people in the same space?

I work in construction, heavy construction, you need us. Thank goodness. Been working from home since last Monday and the foreseeable future along with the rest of my staff.
